Punjabi actor Binnu Dhillon is seen to be on roll these days with an array of movies in his ambit and ‘Welcome Bhua Ji’ is all set to be the next big thing for him as the team gears up for the movie’s shoot

 Director and actor, Smeep Kang, known for Carry On Jatta 2 (2018), Carry on Jatta (2012) and Vaisakhi List (2016) recently took to social media to share the news of the kick-start of upcoming Punjabi movie ‘Welcome Bhua Ji’. He shared a picture while striking a post with the lead actor of the movie, Binnu Dhillon, filmmaker, Munish Sahni and other crew members of ‘Welcome Bhua Ji.’

As seen in the picture, it can be anticipated that Binnu Dhillon will be seen donning a turban in the movie. More details about the movie are awaited.

What’s more? Binnu Dhillon starrer Gol Gappe which is also directed by Smeep Kang is all set to hit the silver screen on 10th April 2020. A Punjabi comedy drama movie, Gol Gappe also stars BN Sharma, Rajat Bedi, Navneet Kaur Dhillon, and Ihana Dhillon in pivotal roles. It has been bankrolled by Deepak Mukut, Manik Bedi, Bunty Raghav and Ilaa Bedi Dutta.

The recently released official poster of the movie which saw the lead actors Binnu Dhillon, B.N. Sharma and Rajat Bedi clipped to a rope, stands testament to the fact that the movie will tickle the funny bone of the audiences.

This July will mark the sequel of Shareek 2 starring the top-notch heroes of the Punjabi film industry, Jimmy Sheirgill and Dev Kharoud in the lead roles

One of the most-awaited sequels of 2020, Shareek 2 is seen to be the latest buzz in town as the makers of the movie shared the release of Shareek 2 on 24 July, 2020. Produced by Vivek Ohri, Gunbir Sidhu, Manmord Sidhu, and Daljit Singh Thand, under the banner of White Hill Studios, Ohri Productions and Thind Motion Films, Shareek 2 has been directed by Navaniat Singh.

While Gippy Grewal’s Ik Sandhu Hunda Si’s trailer and songs are making a lot of buzz around, the recent poster of Roshan Prince’s character from the movie has also caught the attention of public like anything.

To keep the curiosity of the audience about the movie till its release date – 28th Feb – the makers yesterday released the first look of Roshan Prince from Ik Sandhu Hunda Si.

Roshan Prince will be seen as the best friend of Gippy Grewal a.k.a Sandhu in the movie ‘Ik Sandhu Hunda Si’. He is the one who stands by Sandhu’s side in every situation and Sandhu also makes sure to do the same.

However, now looking at the poster, it seems that Roshan Prince’s character in the film will be far deeper than just being a ‘friend to the main hero’.

As for Roshan Prince’s look, it seems that Prince will be playing a very jovial character in the movie. Already, his smile in the poster is winning the public’s hearts. 

The movie ‘Ik Sandhu Hunda Si’ is directed by Rakesh Mehta with its story penned by Jass Grewal. It’s produced by Bally Singh Kakkar and is slated to hit the theatres on  iFebruary 28th.

The recently released title track of Ik Sandhu Hunda Si has set the social media ablaze!

 The much-awaited title track of Ik Sandhu Hunda Si was released earlier in the day today on the official YouTube channel of Humble Music, and within hours of its release, the track created ripples of excitement among the audience.

“After seeing the title track of Ik Sandhu Hunda Si, I am so excited about the movie’s release. I simply loved watching Gippy Grewal in the action-packed role,” shared Kulwinder Singh from Chandigarh.

“From prolific acting skills to amazing direction, the title track of Ik Sandhu Hunda Si has it all. I can’t wait for the movie’s release,” stated Amanpreet Kaur from New Delhi.

Sung by Angrej Ali and written by Akashdeep Sandhu, the music for this track has been given by Jay K and it has been Directed by Rakesh Mehta.

This Valentine’s day romantic drama release, Sufna receives an overwhelming response from the audiences; the first-time on-screen duo of Ammy Virk and Tania is being loved by everyone alike!

 A well-knit love story of a young couple in Punjab, Sufna has aesthetically brought to silver screen the innocence of love and relationships. Written and directed by Jagdeep Sidhu, Sufna is a complete family package movie which touches upon the various problems that take place in a family and the insurmountable challenges that one encounters to earn a living.

However, the underlying theme of unconditional love is what ties the entire storyline in a knot, and needless to say, the adorable chemistry of the lead duo, Ammy Virk and Tania has proved to be a cherry on the cake. Tania’s first appearance as the lead actress in the Punjabi film industry has been a head-turner owing to her proficient acting skills and strong storyline which has been majorly woven around her role in the movie.

Randhawa recently shared a post on his social media handle sharing the release of ‘Surma Surma’ in collaboration with Jay Sean.

Produced under the banner of T Series and Gulshan Kumar, Bhushan Kumar’s Surma Surma is slated to release on 18th February. The music for this track has been given by Vee and the Videography has been taken care of by Director Gifty.

After a long time, Gippy Grewal – one of the most versatile actors in Punjabi cinema – is attempting a full-blown action thriller called Ik Sandhu Hunda Si.

 The actor who’s garnered enough love for his rom-coms and films based on social issues like Ardaas Karaan, is now, it seems, all set to leave a mark with his action too.

Releasing on 28th February, Ik Sandhu Hunda Si is renowned filmmaker Rakesh Mehta’s directorial which has been produced by Bally Singh Kakkar.

While Ik Sandhu Hunda Si’s drama and action-packed trailer has created a lot of buzz on the internet, its songs Galib and Charche have also been making some good noise.

Talking about the trailer, Ik Sandhu Hunda Si seems to have all the potential to provide a great cinematic experience for our audience, featuring a tale packed with love, drama and action.

Set in the backdrop of a college political drama, wherein Sandhu (Gippy Grewal) is a name to reckon with, ik Sandhu Hunda Si seems to explore all possible human emotions – from love to hatred, rage, and revenge.

The trailer basically shows that be it Sandhu’s love or friends, he can do anything to protect them. But the most difficult moment of his life is when he has to choose between the two.

As far as Neha Sharmaa is concerned, though she looks endearing in the trailer but her real test would be on 28th February when the movie actually releases.

Being a newcomer in the industry, Sharma will certainly have to prove her mettle as a Punjabi actress to win the hearts of our Punjabi audience.

The first part of Punjabi comedy drama movie, Manje Bistre received an overwhelming response from the audiences across the globe which motivated the makers of the movie to take the plunge and produce the sequel of the movie, Manje Bistre 2 in 2019.

Even though Manje Bistre 2 wasn’t so successful at the box-office yet the makers have now decided to make its third part which is Manje Bistre 3.
