Widow Colony: Release Date of Gippy Grewal’s New Punjabi Movie Announced

If you enjoy watching historical movies, upcoming Punjabi movie, Widow Colony is worth the wait!
Punjabi singer, actor and Producer, Gippy Grewal recently took to Instagram to announce the release date of Widow Colony, a historic movie which is set in the backdrop of 1984.

Written and directed by Smeep Kang, Widow Colony is produced by Gippy Grewal.

It is co-produced by Bhana L.A. and Vinod Aswal, and Hardeep Dullat is the Project Head of the movie.

The film is presumably based on the well-known ‘Widow Colony’ of Tilak Vihar, New Delhi. This place houses many women who had to rebuild their lives after their husbands lost their lives during 1984 anti-Sikh massacre.

The announcement poster mentioned, “ਜਿਸਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਸੁਹਾਗ ਤੇ ਖ਼ੁਆਬ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਖੋਹ ਲਏ” (Who took away both our life-partners and dreams) in context to 1984.

Widow Colony will feature Gippy Grewal and Gurpreet Ghuggi as the lead characters.

The Much-Awaited Trailer of Qismat 2 is Now Out!

A glimpse of a heart-warming tale of love, Qismat 2’s official trailer has left Punjabi cinema lovers awe-struck!

From foot-tapping music to a heart touching storyline, Qismat 2’s trailer underlines a pious love story of young lovers Shiv and Bani set in the backdrop of a college in Punjab.

The trailer highlights that Qismat 2 has the perfect blend of romance, drama, and comedy; making it a perfect family watch!

A sequel of the Punjabi blockbuster movie Qismat (2018), Qismat 2 promises to set new benchmarks in the Punjabi film industry. It stars one of the most loved Punjabi duo of Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta who will be seen in the lead roles.

The movie also stars Tania, Jaani, Hardip Gill, Rupinder Rupi, Amrit Amby, Balwinder Bullet, Harpreet Bains, Satwant Kaur, and Manpreet Singh Mandi in pivotal roles.

The music of Qismat 2 is given by the heartthrob, B Praak and the lyrics are penned by Jaani.

Qismat 2 is produced by Ankit Vijan and Navdeep Narula under the banner of Shri Narotam Ji Productions and Zee Studios, and Kiran Yadav is the Associate Producer of the movie.

The movie is all set to release on 23rd September.

Shinda Grewal: A Superstar in the Making! (Ice Cap)

One of the cutest celebrity kids, the ‘Humble’ kids have received a lot of love and affection from Gippy Grewal’s fans from across the globe. Right from their innocent yet funny videos to awe-inspiring Bhangra videos, the Humble kids (Gurbaaz Grewal, Shinda Grewal, and Ekom Grewal) have already garnered a lot of fan following at this young age.

After dropping chartbuster Punjabi music tracks in the past, Amrinder is now back with a bang with his latest album, Judaa 3 – a heart-warming collection of eight songs.
