Starring Tarsem Jassar and Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead roles, the much-awaited romantic movie, Galwakdi has released today in cinemas allover the world.
The supporting cast includes BN Sharma, Raghveer Boli, Rupinder Rupi, Seema Kaushal and Harby Sangha.
The film is produced by Vehli Janta Films, while the unique storyline of two opposite personalities falling love, has been penned by Randeep Chahal and directed by Sharan Art.
The film is about a strict and disciplined guy played by Jassar who meets a carefree and happy-go-lucky girl played by Wamiqa Gabbi.
The promos and the songs of the film penned by Tarsem Jassar himself have received an incredible response from the audience. So even though Galwakdi faces a tough competition from Whitehill Studios Lekh which has marched strong into its second week of release, Galwakdi is expected to make it big at the box-office.
The makers of Ni Main Sass Kuttni, which is touted as a rib-tickling Punjabi comedy, had released its first song – the title track yesterday, and it has already crossed the coveted ‘one million views’ mark on YouTube.

According to the trailer, the film revolves around the character of Jagteshwar, played by Tarsem Jassar, who is mighty obsessed with cleanliness and has an organizing OCD. However, his life takes a turn, with the entry of Amber, played by Wamiqa Gabi as a tenant at his place, who is highly spirited and opposite to him. However, before the audience believes in their fairy tale ending, the trailer ends in suspense, leaving the audience hanging.
As far as the music is concerned, three musical tracks have been released so far, and all of them have been beautifully written. Two of the songs have been sung by the lead actor Tarsem himself, and the main title track – Galwakdi ” has been sung by the very talented Nimrat Khaira.
