‘SnapChat’ Model Tanya Chauhan all set to make her Punjabi film debut with ‘Ucha Dar Babe Nanak Da’

‘Ucha Dar Babe Nanak Da’ – a new Punjabi spiritual film is in the news lately as some of the best actors from the film industry shall be featuring in this Tarnvir Singh Jagpal directorial.

This will be Tanya Chauhan’s first venture into the Punjabi film industry, and fans are eagerly anticipating her performance. With her modeling background, Tanya Chauhan is expected to bring a unique flair and style to her role in the film.

According to reports, Tanya Chauhan will be portraying the role of a rural girl in ‘Ucha Dar Babe Nanak Da’, who is educated and articulate and aspires to marry a Canadian man to move to Canada. It will be interesting to see how Tanya Chauhan approaches this character, given her background as a model.

The upcoming movie includes well-known performers such as Jimmy Shergill and Isha Rikhi. Tarnvir Singh Jagpal, who previously launched Siddu Moose Wala in the film ‘Yes I Am Student.’ For his new project, Jagpal is introducing new actors Tanya and Harj to the audience.

Born in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, Tanya Chauhan has been involved with the Punjabi music industry for a considerable period. Tufang: Guri, Rukshar Dhillon, and Jagjeet Sandhu to Feature In A New Punjabi Action Movie

Good news for Punjabi movie enthusiasts! An upcoming Punjabi film has been announced, featuring Guri, Rukshar Dhillon, and Jagjeet Sandhu.

Titled ‘Tufang’ the movie’s tagline reads – “every weapon has its own history”, hinting at an action-packed drama. Interestingly, the movie is being directed by Punjabi film’s ace scriptwriter and director, Dheeraj Rattan. Also, his wife, Manila Rattan has worked on the story and screenplay of the movie.

Tufang will release on 21 July 2023.

Maurh: Ammy Virk and Dev Kharoud’s First Punjabi Movie Together To Release On THIS Date

Ammy Virk and Dev Kharoud, two of the best Punjabi actors, have teamed up for a new Punjabi film called ‘Maurh’. The release date for the movie has been announced and it will be coming out on June 16, 2023.

Ammy Virk used his social media account to talk about the movie, and he also posted a picture from the film. In the caption, he wrote…

According to reports, a major portion of the movie was filmed in Rajasthan. This is the first time that Ammy Virk and Dev Kharoud will be seen together on screen. Directed by Jatinder Mauhar, the movie also features Manuel Randhawa, Kuljinder Singh Sidhu, Vikramjeet Virk, Amiek Virk, and many other actors in important roles.

Director Imitiaz Ali announces Gabbar Sangrur’s Punjabi film White Punjab

Famous filmmaker Imitiaz Ali announced upcoming Punjabi film White Punjab by releasing film’s clap.

Written and directed by Gabbar Sangrur, White Punjab focusses on the rising gang culture in Punjab. The film highlight’s Punjab’s rich culture and how youth can play a huge role in rebuilding Rangla Punjab.

White Punjab’s cast includes Kartar Cheema, Dakksh Ajit Singh, Rabbi kandola and introducing kaka.
The film’s cinematography will be done by Soni Singh.

The film is produced by The Theatre Army Films that is known for line producing Bollywood projects such as Tabbar, Street dancer, Bubli bouncer, It is also associated with upcoming Hindi films Chamkila, The Diplomate and Sam Bahadur. Ninja, Saby Saanjh and Sharan Kaur Come Together For A New Punjabi film ‘Majhe Diye Mombatiye’

The upcoming film ‘Majhe Diye Mombatiye’ has created a buzz in the industry as two of the most talented and beautiful Punjabi film stars, Ninja and Sharan Kaur are coming together for the first time in this film. The announcement of this film has caused excitement among fans.

Producer Saby Saanjh expressed in a media interview that the upcoming romantic film ‘Majhe Diye Mombatiye’ is a dream project for his production house ‘Folk Studios’ in collaboration with London Eye Filmy Studios Limited.

The team is planning to shoot the movie in England and other countries and the filming is scheduled to begin in a few months. The film is set to release in 2024.

As per reports, the makers of this film are planning to allocate a large budget to the film and shoot the most of it in foreign countries. This upcoming film is expected to be one of the most expensive productions in the Punjabi cinema industry.

Majhe Diye Mombatiye is being directed by Ranjit Singh Bal, the man behind ‘Great Sardar’. Bal and Ninja have previously collaborated for a Punjabi movie ‘Dhakka Na Karo’.

Recently, director Bal wrapped up shooting for another feature film titled ‘Akal De Anne’ in England.

This monsoon, besides the typical July downpour, it’s going to be raining loads of laughter also in Punjab because two of the greatest artistes of Punjabi film industry – Binnu Dhillon and Ammy Virk – are coming together for a comedy drama in Whitehill Studios’ next – Gaddi Jaandi Ae Chalaangaan Maardi.

As far as the release date is concerned, ‘Gaddi Jaandi Ae Chalaangaan Maardi’ will be making it to the big screens on July 28, 2023.

Touted to be a laughter riot, the movie is being directed by king of comedy – Smeep Kang, while the script has been penned by Naresh Kathooria.

Alongside Ammy and Binnu, the movie will feature Jaswinder Bhalla, Jasmin Bajwa, Honey Mattu, BN Sharma, Hardeep Gill, and more.

Sources reveal that Anhi Dea Mazaak Ae will now release on April 21.

Starring Ammy Virk and Pari Pandher in the lead, the film is a comedy-drama.

Written and directed by Rakesh Dhawan, the movie has a huge star cast that includes Nasir Chinyoti, Iftikhar Thakur, Nirmal Rishi, Hardeep Gill, Amar Noor, Deedar Gill, Gurdeep Grewal, and more.

Also, Neeru Bajwa’s Chal Jindiye’s release has also been postponed. The movie will now release on April 7, the slot reserved for Anhi Dea Mazaak Ae earlier.

The talks of Dev Kharoud sharing the screenspace with action hero Prince Kanwaljit Singh were doing the rounds since a long time. Finally, the name of the two stars’ upcoming Punjabi movie together has been revealed. Titled ‘Yaaran Da Rutbaa’, the film is all set to release this year on 14th April 2023.

Besides Prince Kanwaljit Singh and Dev Kharoud, the movie will also star Rahul Dev, and Yesha Sagar.

Directed by Mandeep Benipal and written by Shree Brar, the movie is going to be an action drama.

Besides this film, Dev Kharoud has many other projects in his kitty. He will be seen with Ammy Virk in the movie ‘Maurh’. Further, the sequel of his highly awaited Punjabi film ‘Blackia’ is scheduled to hit the big screens on May 5, 2023.
