According to Richa Agarwal, “Today’s youth are eager to showcase themselves on platforms like Instagram and social media. In their quest for instant beauty results, they often resort to various methods. Unfortunately, this can lead to skin allergies and discoloration due to improper application of makeup and beauty products. Such practices can have long-lasting consequences, including permanent damage and health complications. We often encounter young individuals suffering from the side effects of chemical-laden products used on their hair and skin. To address this, we are steering them towards completely natural and organic beauty routines and products. This workshop also educates the youth on selecting the right products, understanding ingredients, correct usage, and aligning them with the specific needs of their skin and hair.”

During the event, Cleopatra Academy students showcased eye-catching looks using vibrant colors, making a statement in sustainable and eco-friendly styles ideal for the transition into summer beauty. Inspired by the colorful aesthetics observed at the Cannes Film Festival, the looks featured bold, vibrant, and fresh styles suitable for the summer season. Attendees also received tips on sunscreen application and selecting appropriate toners for maximum protection. Additionally, women were encouraged to try homemade fruit-based recipes for healthier and more beautiful skin.

Winter makeovers that you won’t want to miss in wedding season

In terms of fashion and beauty trends, it is difficult to stay on top of them since they are constantly changing every season. As far as seasonal trends are concerned, they are completely at odds with each other. Renowned makeover expert Richa Agarwal, Cleopatra Salon and makeovers recently presented winter makeover previews along with the launch of a lookbook. She also chose the occasion to share winter makeover trends and tips.

Aside from being stylish, these trends remained extremely modern and trendsetting at the same time. In keeping with the ever-changing parameters of winter fashion and makeovers, along with the traditional sensibilities of the people in Chandigarh, Richa Agarwal and Harvin Kathuria present these looks and trends of the season that are sure to inspire future brides.

Fashion trends for the new season were characterized by blingy looks, bold colours, high-end couture fashion and royal accessories. Additionally, information was shared regarding the correct way to use macules, brushes, and fancy and elaborate accessories as well as the correct way to use them.

Taking this opportunity to speak regarding the fresh looks for winter weddings, Richa Agarwal said, “Wedding and festive season are two seasons that are particularly special for us all, for many reasons, and people like to enjoy grand occasions together, and they love to wear gorgeous outfits and attractive looks, and makeovers, hairstyles, and nail art have played a major role in creating these looks. In contrast to last year’s trends, this year’s looks are making a comeback. This is because traditional looks are making a comeback along with a fusion of a little bit of western styles and trends. When the makeup of the eyes is more attractive than the rest of the face, then it is very important to keep the rest of the face simple and unadorned.

In the past, brides used to wear a lot of hairstyles with flower-based accessories, which were very creative, but this year, brides are leaving their hair open with soft curls as their first look, as well as statement maang tikkas with open hairstyles and chokers as their first look. Similarly, this year, bridal looks will be seen in heavy jewelry, and base nude makeup will be seen this year. As far as eye makeup is concerned, we can expect to see blingy, shimmery, dramatic, and bold looks this fall. Compared to summer weddings, winter weddings have a different look and feel to them. Winter weddings have their own unique atmosphere and fun, and it is without a doubt that they are a destination wedding that has a unique atmosphere for the guests as well as the bride and groom themselves. As Richa Agarwal says, “Winter weddings have their own charm and allure, and the bride and groom wish that they could get married in winter as it is the right time for not only fashion, but also beautiful hairstyles and makeup as well. This day is very special for Bride and Groom, so they want to look the most beautiful on this occasion.

The girls want to have special photogenic makeup done on this speciday. This will ensure so that they will look gorgeous in photographs and have the opportunity to share their pictures with family, friends, and on social media. To cater to their specific preferences, we have also launched a lookbook that showcases the latest trends of winter makeovers, taking into account their preferences. There has been a change in the mood in weddings and celebrations since the end of the pandemic stage, and people today are openly enjoying weddings and celebrations with a different brightness that can be observed.

Holi-Proof Your Skin with Aromatherapy: Purnima Goyal

Who doesn’t want to enjoy the festival of colors but as we think of celebrating it with all pomp and show we also remain concerned and worried about our skin getting exposed to colors of Holi that are harsh and laden with chemicals, hence the spirit and excitement to play Holi gets faded somewhere.

Although this year everyone is more cautious about playing Holi, still people are making Holi Milan programs either with their family members or with their very special friends and are ready to play Holi with their near and dear ones.
Nowadays people have many options of colors to play Holi with such as natural, eco-friendly, homemade, and aromatherapy-based colors, and also there are many natural options for getting rid of the color from skin and hair. Beauty expert Purnima Goyal, shares some easy and natural ways to remove colours of holi from skin and hair and opting for colors that are safe to use. She also shares some Dos and Dont’s.
As everyone knows, chemical colors react badly on the skin and hair, causing a chemical layer to form on the skin and hair. And due to this problem, the skin and scalp can become sensitive and may also have problems with itching, rashes, etc. People with extremely sensitive and dehydrated skin, or those suffering from problems such as thyroid or pyrosis, or any type of hormonal imbalance, should avoid playing Holi. If however, they want to play, then they can add drops of tea tree or lavender oil to their bathwater to reverse the opposite effects of colors.

For Pre Holi and Post Holi skincare you can apply almond oil to your body, it is rich in Vitamin E and enhances your skin health while providing a protective barrier against harsh colors. If you do not have almond oil, you can replace it with olive oil or coconut oil, which is good for enhancing the texture and tone of your skin. Don’t forget to coat your hair, as well as  your scalp.

Since Holi is played in the open, problems like skin tanning, sunburn are very common too, so it is important to keep the skin moisturized and use sun protection cream, you can apply waterproof sunscreen. For your lips and skin, you can apply petroleum jelly on your skin before playing Holi. Also, make sure that you apply petroleum jelly to your eyelids and the area under your eyes as well. As you are completely covered in cotton clothes, in such a situation, you should also protect your nails, apply two colors of nail paint and oil on the nails as well as protect them from the colors.

Usually, after playing Holi, people like to shampoo their hair several times to remove color from hair and scalp, and while doing so they rub their scalp as well or apply bleach to remove the color from hair, But by these means, the colors do not come out of the scalp or hair, they are sealed under the layer of bleach. Overuse of chemicals with color and then the use of bleach can infect the scalp, causing the problem of untimely white hair, dry skin, etc. Keep in mind that you should always use shampoo only after diluting it and apply the conditioner to your hair and not to the roots or to the scalp.

In addition, it is very important to keep the skin hydrated and moisturized while cleansing the skin, do not use scrubs or soapy face washes, apply a homemade face pack and apply it on dry honey by gently milking it. , You can make a scrub by applying papaya seeds, shea seeds and adding it to the scrubbing effect, and add lemon juice to the raw milk, apply it lightly on your skin. Lemon, milk, and coconut milk act as a natural bleach and are the safest and easiest option for removing color from the skin. You can also take the help of aromatherapy and use it by mixing 1 big spoon of jojoba oil or lavender and then 2 drops of jasmine oil, this will keep your skin moisture intact even during Holi and flax. -Burn- You will be saved from skin problems etc. Also, these natural packs will keep the level of moisture in your skin etc.

Now, with skin-proof protection, you can relax a little and then go to a good salon and spa to enhance your beauty and go for a natural manicure, pedicure, hair spa and lymphatic drainage massage, which not only gives you Will give comfort but also detoxify. You can also opt for a full-body spa, especially a chocolate spa that may be best for you, and include a good amount of fruits and juices in your diet for diet.
