As promised by Gippy Grewal last year, Carry On Jatta 3’s release has been confirmed.

The news is confirmed by none other than Gippy Grewal and Binnu Dhillon – the central characters of Carry On Jatta along with Jaswinder Bhalla. While giving a big surprise to their fans today, both of them shared the news of the release of Carry On Jatta 3 with its title poster mentioning the names of the director and producer as well. 

Carry On Jatta 3 Release Date:

Carry On Jatta 3 Will Release On 25th June 2021. 

The film will be produced by Gippy Grewal himself while as in the earlier installments, the film will once again be directed by King of Comedies – Smeep Kang. Since Binnu Dhillon has shared the same poster, it is evident that he will be working in this movie too.

It won’t be an exaggeration to say that franchise of Carry On Jatta, the first part of which was released in August 2012 was a film that changed the future of Punjabi cinema. The movie was given the status of a cult classic and has its loyal fans spanning all generations. 

While Gippy Grewal and Mahie Gill formed the lead starcast in Carry On Jatta original, the sequel which released in June 2018 had Gippy and Sonam Bajwa in the lead.

Directed by Smeep Kang, the film also boasts of having the best of the talent from the industry including the likes of Binnu Dhillon, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Rana Ranbir, Jaswinder Bhalla, B.N. Sharma, Karamjit Anmol, Sardar Sohi and many others.

While the first part of Carry On Jatta was produced by Sippy Grewal, the sequel was produced by Whitehill Studios.

Carry On Jatta 3, as mentioned earlier will be produced by Gippy Grewal, under his production house, Humble Motion Pictures. The film will be distributed by Omjee Star Studios worldwide.

The third song of upcoming Punjabi romantic entertainment movie, Channa Ve has now made its way to the music charts.

This Valentine’s day release, Sufna is one of the most awaited Punjabi romantic entertainment movies of 2020 starring singer – turned – actor Ammy Virk and Tania.

A well-knit modern day love story of a young couple from Punjab, Sufna promises to be a complete family package movie.

The movie has already garnered fame and attention with its recently released music tracks Qubool A and Jaan Deeyan Ge, and to add another cherry to the cake, the makers of Sufna have dropped another romantic melody, Channa Ve.

A heart-touching sad romantic song, Channa Ve has been sung by Mann Bhareya fame singer, B Praak.

B Praak has also given the music for this track. The credits for lyrics and composition go to Jaani and the credits for mixing mastering go to Gurjinder Singh (Saffron Touch Studio).

Produced by Gurpreet Singh and Navneet Virk under the banner of Panj Paani Films, Sufna is written and directed by Jagdeep Sidhu.

The movie stars Ammy Virk, Tania, Jagjeet Sandhu, Seema Kaushal, Jasmin Bajwa, Kaka Kautki, Mohini Toor, Lakha Lehri, Balwinder Bullet, Rabab Kaur, and Mintu Kapa in pivotal roles.

Sufna is slated to release on 14th February, 2020 and believed to be a part of Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta’s 2018 blockbuster ‘Qismat’s’ series. In fact, the producers of Sufna have even remarked that “Sufna is going to be much bigger than Qismat’.

So will the fresh pairing of Ammy Virk and Tania appeal to the Punjabi audience? Let’s wait and watch.

After giving vocals to the revamped version of her song ‘Illegal Weapon’, titled ‘Illegal Weapon 2.0’ ( from the movie Street Dancer 3D), Indian – American playback singer, Jasmine Sandlas marked her comeback with a single track, Guglu Muglu which was released on her official YouTube channel yesterday. 

 Written by Ranbir Grewal and composed by J-Statik, Guglu Muglu is not one of the bhangra or party tracks like the ones she released in the past but, has a groovy vibe that is sure to make you shake a leg. 

The track is directed by her sister, Roseleen Sandlas worked on the video of the song and Mintu is the Director of Photography. The Editing has been done by Jagjeet Singh Dhanoa and make-up has been done by make-up artist, Coco Ballucci. Guglu Muglu is being distributed by Ziiki Media. 

Sandlas started her music career with “Muskan” (2008) which eventually became a hit. In 2014, she began her Bollywood playback singing career with the song “Yaar Na Miley” for the film Kick. Upon its release, “Yaar Na Miley” went viral and topped the charts and Sandlas received wide critical acclaim for her singing style as well as earned several awards, including “Most popular song of year 2016 – PTC Punjabi Film Awards” and Screen Award for Best Female Playback. 

Some other chartbuster music tracks to her credit include Ishq Da Sutta, Raat Jashn Di, Bamb Jatt (2017), Sip Sip (2018) and Mithi Mithi (2019).

The countdown for the release of Punjabi romantic entertainer movie, Sufna’s official trailer has started now; the movie is slated to release on 14th February.

The wait for Ammy Virk and Tania’s fans will be over soon as Sufna’s official trailer is tentatively slated to release on 30th January. The writer and director of the movie, Jagdeep Sidhu recently shared this news with a leading daily.

When he was asked about the reason behind this long wait and what’s the strategy behind first taking the veil off the songs, Jagdeep firmly replied, “Actually music is the backbone of every film, and we really worked hard for it. In fact, we started working on music last february; we gave almost a year to it, so I wanted that to come out first and create a buzz.”

He also added, “At the same time, honestly it was very difficult to crack the right trailer for ‘Sufna’; it actually took a lot of time for us to decide.”

A well-knit modern love story of a young couple in Punjab, Sufna stars Ammy Virk and Tania in the lead roles.

The duo has earlier shared screen in blockbuster Punjabi movies like Qismat (2018) and Guddiyan Patole (2019). However, Tania will be seen playing the role of a lead actress for the first time.

Written and directed by Jagdeep Sidhu, Sufna is a well-knit modern love story of a young couple in Punjab.

Apart from Sufna, Ammy Virk’s other movies lined up for 2020 include his first Bollywood movie ’83 releasing in April, then Puaada which will release in June this year. In Puaada, Sonam Bajwa will be seen playing the lead role with him. Ammy Virk will also star in Lekh opposite his Qismat heroine – Sargun Mehta. This Punjabi movie will release on 18th Sep 2020.

Theater artist – turned – actor Dev Kharoud recently took to social media to announce the release of his next Punjabi movie, Gandhi 3 Yaaran Da Yaar’.

After the spurring success of Dakuan Da Munda (2018), and DSP Dev (2019), Dev Kharoud is all set to act in the third part of Rupinder Gandhi – The Gangster and Rupinder Gandhi – The Gangster 2, titled as , Gandhi 3 Yaaran Da Yaar.

Dev recently took to his social media handle to share the poster of the movie and make the announcement. He shared the first look of the movie in which he was seen with a gun in one hand and a blood soaked white cload tied on the second.

His t-shirt also had blood stains on it which hints about the action and mystery element of the movie.  Gandhi 3 Yaaran Da Yaar is being bankrolled by Dream Reality Films. More details about the movie will be out soon!

The strange part is however, that Dev Kharoud didn’t star in the second installment of Rupinder Gandhi series. The second part of the same is releasing starring Arya Babbar in the lead. The trailer of the same is already out. 

The release of Dev Kharoud’s upcoming Punjabi movie, Zakhmi is also around the corner.

In Zakhmi, Dev Kharoud will be starring opposite Anchal Singh for the first time in his Punjabi movies career. Also, this is going to be Anchal Singh’s first Punjabi movie.

Anchal has already been sharing a lot of delightful moments from the sets of Zakhmi which are keeping the fans curious about the movie.

Zakhmi’s trailer is out and being really appreciated by fans. Another highlight of Zakhmi is that it will be produced by Binnu Dhillon.

The movie is all set to release on February 7^th.

Gippy Grewal’s next production project, Kale Kacchian Wale has now begun; the movie stars Ranjit Bawa and Sapna Pabbi in the lead roles.

Singer-turned-actor Ranjit Bawa recently announced the news of the shoot commencement of his next project, Kale Kacchian Wale starring Sapna Pabbi. According to sources, the shoot has kick-started from the City Beautiful, Chandigarh.

Kale Kachhian Wale Will Release In July 2020. 

Bawa, who was earlier seen in blockbuster Punjabi movies like Bhalwan Singh (2017), Toofan Singh (2017), Vekh Barataan Challiyaan (2017), Khido Khundi (2018), and Tara Mira (2019), couldn’t hide his excitement and thrill for Kale Kacchian Wale and his boomerang on Instagram with a wide smile and sparkling eyes stood testament to the same.

In the boomerang, he was seen with his co-star, Sapna Pabbi, a British actress and model known for her work as Kiran Rathod in the Indian television series 24 and the Hindi films, Khamoshiyan and Drive. She was earlier seen in Punjabi romantic drama movie, Mar Gaye Oye Loko starring Gippy Grewal and Binnu Dhillon.

Produced by Gippy Grewal, under the banner of Humble Motion Pictures, Kale Kacchian Wale is being directed by Maneesh Bhatt.

According to Gippy Grewal, “Kale Kachyan Wale is going to be a suspense thriller with light-hearted comedy and romance. The movie is based around the early 90s era when the gang Kale Kachhyan Wale was very active in Punjab and to counter them, a lot of Punjabi youth were put on guard for every one’s protection.”

When asked about the release date of Kale Kachhian Wale, director Maneesh Bhatt told exclusively to Iampunjaabi.com, that it will be releasing in June or July this year. 

Talking about her role in Kale Kachhiyan Wale, Sapna Pabbi said that she’s really delighted to play the role of a desi Punjabi girl for the first time in her life. “When it comes to Gippy Grewal’s movies, it’s an automatic Yes from my side. Also, the story of Kale Kachhyan Wale is really an amazing one with a lot of strong characters.”

 

Nanak (2018) and Yaara Ve (2019) fame director, Rakesh Mehta shares a sneak-peak into the behind-the-scenes shooting of Ik Sandhu Hunda Si.

The much-awaited Punjabi action drama movie, Ik Sandhu Hunda Si is seen to be the latest buzz in town as the official teaser of the movie which was released last week at the official YouTube channel of Humble Music, received a lot of acclaim from Punjabis across the globe.

To add more to the buzz, Rakesh Mehta, the movie’s Director shared behind-the-scenes pictures of the movie set. Mehta expressed his fun experience while shooting the movie and also announced that the official trailer of Ik Sandhu Hunda Si will be out soon.

Produced by Bally Singh Kakar and penned by Jass Grewal, Ik Sandhu Hunda Si promises to be a complete family package with elements of friendship, action, and drama.

With Gippy Grewal and Neha Sharma in the lead roles, Ik Sandhu Hunda Si also has elements of a true love story which is sure warm the audience’s heart. Not only this, the movie also stars Roshan Prince, Pawan Malhotra, Vikramjeet Virk, Babbal Rai, Dheeraj Kumar, Raghveer Boli, Jasprem Dhillon, and Anmol Kwatra in pivotal roles. Ik Sandhu Hunda Si is scheduled to release on 28 February, 2020.

Singer – turned – actor Gippy Grewal kick-started his recent visit to Pakistan by seeking the blessing of almighty at Nankana Sahib

Gippy Grewal has always been a proud Punjabi who is deep-rooted in our rich culture and heritage, and his recent visit to one of the most important sites of the Sikh religion, Nankana Sahib stands testament to the same.

Nankana Sahib is a city and capital of Nankana Sahib District in the Punjab province of Pakistan.

It is named after the first Guru of the Sikhs, Guru Nanak, who was born in the city and first began preaching here.

Upon his arrival in Pakistan, Grewal paid homage at Nankana Sahib and then moved back to Lahore. He even shared a sneak-peak of his visit on his social media portals. Not even this, he also thanked a few people regarding his visit including Imran Khan and Captain Amrinder Singh amongst others.

According to sources, Grewal will also be visiting Gurudwara Panja Sahib during his Pakistan trip. Not only this, his itinerary also includes a tour of Lahore and Islamabad and the place of his forefathers, which they left in 1947.

Talking about Gippy Grewal’s upcoming Punjabi movie, he’s these days promoting his film Ik Sandhu Hunda Si which will release on 28th February 2020. 

The film will be directed by Rakesh Mehta and produced by Bally Singh Kakkar along with Gippy Grewal himself. The highlight of Ik Sandhu Hunda Si is action, which is done by Sham Kaushal, famous Bollywood veteran action director. 

Ik Sandhu Hunda Si’s pre-teaser and teaser are already out. Now its first song ‘Galib’ can be out any day. Ik Sandhu Hunda Si will also mark the debut Bollywood actress and model Neha Sharma as an actress in Punjabi cinema.

The countdown for one of the much-awaited romantic Punjabi movies of 2020, Jind Meriye has now started!

Channa Mereya (2017), Sajjan Singh Rangroot (2018), and High End Yaariyaan (2019) fame director, Pankaj Verma is now back with another heart – touching romantic drama movie, Jind Meriye which is all set to release this Friday. Batra has not only directed the movie, but has also produced and written it. Jind Meriye is also produced by Ashu Munish Sahni and Aniket Kawade.

With singer-turned-actor, Parmish Verma and Punjabi actress, Sonam Bajwa in the lead roles, Jind Meriye promises to bring to silver screen, a cute and romantic love story.

The storyline is based on a young boy named Yaadi who believes in gaining quick success and luxuries through shortcuts. Yaadi eventually falls in love with Rehmat who is an innocent and focused girl.

While their love blooms during their college days, Rehmat’s father starts disliking Yaadi which leads Rehmat to move to England where her father chooses a guy for her named Yuvi, who has a golden heart. Meanwhile, Yaadi falls into drug dealings and joins a mafia group in England. He gets all the luxuries that he desires for, but loneliness still grips him as realizes the absence of Rehmat in his life, and the story further unfolds.

A complete family romantic drama movie, Jind Meriye is full of entertainment and Parmish Verma’s recent Instagram video providing a sneak-peak into the movie, stands testament to the same.
