A sneak-peak of Sufna’s trailer launch shared by lead actress of the movie, Tania is giving the Punjabi film industry some serious #DreamTeam goals!

The countdown for one of the much – awaited Punjabi romantic entertainment movies of 2020, Sufna is soon about to begin and the well-knit team is now out on its spree to promote the movie in high zeal and verve.

Produced by Gurpreet Singh and Navneet Virk under the banner of Panj Paani Films, Sufna stars Ammy Virk and Tania in the lead roles. Tania recently took to social media to share a picture with the team of Sufna striking a post at the movie’s official trailer launch.

The picture featured the ‘super-men’ behind ‘Sufna’s music – Jaani and B Braak and the lead actress Tania herself, along with singer – turned – actor Ammy Virk, actor Jagjeet Sandhu and the captain of the ship, Jagdeep Sidhu, who is the writer and director of the movie.

The recently released trailer of Sufna stands testament to the fact that this Punjabi romantic entertainment movie is going to be grand!

Grand in look and feel, and might turn out grand at the box-office too, even though it seems to be just a simple love story based on some village characters.

Although Sufna has been touted as an emotional love story owing to its three songs which have been released already, yet the trailer shows some really cute humorous moments enacted well by Ammy and Tania.

An action-packed Punjabi entertainment movie, Gandhi Fer Aa Gea receives appreciation from the audiences.

This Friday’s release, Gandhi Fer Aa Gea starring Aarya Babbar, Neha Malik, Tinu Verma, Harpal Singh, and Sunakshi Sharma proved to be the perfect blend of entertainment and emotional drama.

Produced by Manoj Sethi and directed and penned by Kinder Singh, Gandhi Fer Aa Gea has a rich storyline which touches the various elements of family emotions, gang wars, casteism, poverty, and dirty politics.

It narrates the tale of Gandhi who returns to his home from a ten-year long sentence in jail. He was jailed at the age of 17 for killing five boys, who had tried to harm his sister.

He comes back only to realise that his village is plagued with gang wars, drug dealers, casteism, poverty and dirty politics.

He makes it his personal mission to save the village, but while he decides to take the plunge, he comes across insurmountable challenges and that’s how the story unfolds.

The lead role of Gandhi is being played by Bigg Boss Season 8 contestant, Aarya Babbar who has marked his comeback to the Punjabi film industry after a short stint.

Babbar has earlier worked in an array of Punjabi movies including Mushtanda (2014), Ishq Dot Com (2014), Heer and Hero (2013), Naughty Jatts (2013), Jatts in Golmaal (2013), Yaar Anmulle (2011), and Virsa (2010).

On the first day of its release, Gandhi Fer Aa Gea received appreciation and love from the audiences, especially from the Aarya Babbar fans who felt thrilled to see his comeback.

The audience also enjoyed the action and drama aspect in the movie.

Carry on Jatta fame Director, Smeep Kang is all set to surprise the Punjabi audiences with Laavaan Phere 2 in 2021.

Punjabi singer – turned – actor, Roshan Prince recently shared the exciting news of Laavaan Phere 2 releasing in the next year.

The first part of Laavan Phere was released on 16 February 2018. It was directed by Smeep Kang and produced by Karamjit Anmol, Ranjiv Singla, Prem Prakash Gupta.

The screenplay of the movie was written by Pali Bhupinder Singh. According to sources, the sequel of Laavaan Phere was supposed to be released last year in February.

However due to certain reasons, the movie release got postponed and Roshan Prince recently spilled the beans by sharing an Instagram post announcing the release of Laavaan Phere 2.

In the post, he announced that the ‘jija gang’ will mark its comeback in 2021.

The vibrant and jovial poster highlighted that the movie promises to take the audiences on a fun and laughter ride.

It appears that in the sequel as well, Roshan Prince will be seen as the main protagonist, and the female lead opposite him will be Rubina Bajwa.

As a matter of fact, the entire cast will be the same with Karamjit Anmol, Gurpreet Ghuggi and Harby Sangha in the jija gang and B.N. Sharma in an important role.

Directed by Smeep Kang, the details of the producer of the movie have not been shared yet.

This year’s Punjabi romantic entertainment release, Sufna starring Ammy Virk and Tania has already created a lot of social media buzz with its chartbuster music tracks and the makers of the movie are all set to release Sufna’s official trailer today at 5pm

The adorable duo of Ammy Virk and Tania is all set to win hearts on the silver screen this valentine’s day with romantic entertainer, Sufna.

The duo was earlier seen together in blockbuster movies like Qismat (2018) and Guddiyan Patole (2019). However, Sufna is going to be the first Punjabi movie wherein Tania will be seen playing the lead role.

The makers of the movie recently released the romantic melody, Channa Ve which stood testament to the pious and heart-warming relationship of the protagonists of the movie.

The other music tracks of Sufna including Qubool Aa and Jaan Deeyan Ge also garnered love and appreciation from the Punjabi audiences.

The Writer and Director of the movie, Jagdeep Sidhu was recently asked about the reason behind this long wait in trailer release and what’s the strategy behind first taking the veil off the songs, Sidhu firmly replied, “Actually music is the backbone of every film, and we really worked hard for it. In fact, we started working on music last February; we gave almost a year to it, so I wanted that to come out first and create a buzz.”

He also added, “At the same time, honestly it was very difficult to crack the right trailer for ‘Sufna’; it actually took a lot of time for us to decide.”

The Indian Innovation and Entrepreneurship Community recently flagged off the youth empowerment fest at GD Badaya Auditorium, Sanskriti College, Mansarovar, Jaipur

What started as a movement to attain social empowerment through digital technology has become larger in dimension and its reach now. The Indian Innovation and Entrepreneurship Community recently launched the Empowerment with Technology Roadmap 2020 to manifest youth and women empowerment and unleash the agenda that works towards eradicating the problem of unemployment, encourage entrepreneurship and startups in Jaipur and Rajasthan.

The youth of Jaipur and from across Rajasthan participated in the festivity of empowerment that not only educated, groomed and skilled them but also resolved crucial challenges they were facing in their way to becoming digital maestros. Youth participated in the event to become self-reliant and be part of a movement that launched path-breaking technologies leading towards youth and women empowerment. Archana Jain, Ace Dietitian and Nutritionist from Jaipur conducted a special session on ” Importance of Healthy Lifestyle & diet” in student life which was well received by students.

Movement for 2020 was flagged off by Mr. Vimal Daga, renowned technology expert and educator Founder, IIEC today from GD Badaya Auditorium, Sanskriti College, Mansarovar. Joining them were known personalities from Jaipur.

Last year IIEC had launched Jazbaa through which students reflected their passion towards doing exceptional work in launching digital projects on Women safety, Kids suffering from Autism, Eliminating hunger and poverty, helping blind people to lead a smooth life, containing incidents of thefts, improving agricultural yield, reducing traffic congestion from healthcare to environmental sustainability and many such pressing issues pose serious challenges and concerns before our society.

And the year 2020 will see the focus of IIEC on tackling the serious issues of unemployment, self-employment generation, tackling inadequate education opportunities, skills to ensure success, identifying chemical-laden eatables, environmental issues, traffic congestion, helping handicaps with technology, making educational opportunities accessible and many more.

According to Mr. Vimal Daga, “The festival of empowerment, Jazbaa will address core issues that are plaguing the society today and make headway with technology-driven insight which will improve countless lives and help people in dealing with pressing social issues India is going to be home to the largest youth population by 2020 and for a youth-driven country, the empowerment of the population is of primary importance. The event unfolded interactive sessions and presentations, series of sessions worked towards guiding and honing skills of the young population and guiding the youth of today through the maze of a multitude of choices and helping them in making informed choices in the right direction so that they could build socially empowered society.

He further added, ‘’We want to prove that every engineering student, average or below the average can be a creator, We are working towards the untouched- ignorant- average- below the average students starting with startups and owning their own ventures. Today technology leaders can play role of catalyst for driving the change through innovative thinking and collaboration rather than focusing on entertainment side of innovation, technology has new ways of tackling problems today and It’s not the responsibility of government only but as a responsible and educated citizens, we should also contribute largely towards society and do our bit we are working towards inculcating traits of entrepreneurship amongst the engineering students at the right time i.e. during their college days itself. Hence soon Indians will dream of being founders of companies and not looking only for jobs. This shall also take care of the problem of unemployment faced by the youth of the country.

Also present during the event was renowned Fashion & Social entrepreneur, Deepa Mathur, she stated, “This festival of empowerment is a Nobel Initiative which works towards achieving its vision of “Making India, Future Ready” while inculcating entrepreneurial skills in students the event of empowerment aims to train, guide and motivate youth, especially Engineering students who are below the average and response of society remains of disapproval towards them, I feel happy to become a part of this festival.”

One of the most loved comedians and actors of the Punjabi film industry, Rana Ranbir dons various hats including that of a director and writer, and needless to say, he is efficiently surpassing benchmarks with all of his hats.

Now Ranbir is all set to add another feather to his director’s hat with upcoming Punjabi movie, Posti.

Besides this Gippy Grewal is producing two more Punjabi films in 2020 – Phatte Chak Denge Punjabi with Binnu Dhillon and Zareen Khan and ‘Kale Kachhian Wale’ with Rana Ranbir and Sapna Pabbi.

Cheema made his debut in the Punjabi film industry with Hashar: A Love Story (2008) and later worked in several popular Punjabi movies like Aiven Raula Pai Gaya (2012), Punjab 1984 (2014), Darra (2016) and Dushman (2017).

His 2019 releases Sikander 2 and Singham received immense appreciation from the critics as well as the audiences.

Produced under the banner of New Era Pictures and Big Bash Producers in association with Ranjiv Singla Productions, Defaulter promises to be a complete family package movie with the perfect blend of emotions, drama, action, and a storyline that will tug at your heartstrings instantly!

Helmed by Avtar Singh, this content based movie is slated to hit the 70MM in 2020. The first official poster look and release date will be out soon.

Lead actor of the movie, Kartar Cheema recently shared the announcement of Defaulter’s release on his social media portals in which he expressed that the ‘”Sikander’ will now be seen as the ‘Defaulter”. 

He further gave a hint of the storyline of the movie by stating that the term ‘defaulter’ signifies the man who stood for right but himself was wronged.
