 ‘Teeje Week’ fame singer, Jordan Sandhu’s first music track of 2020, ‘Mashoor Ho Giya’ is slated to release on 3^rd February.

 While Jordan Sandhu was still enjoying fame and appreciation his entertaining acting in the recently released Punjabi comedy movie, Khatre Da Guggu, he recently made another announcement on his Instagram account which made his fans go gaga with happiness!

Sandhu shared the official poster of his upcoming music track, ‘Mashoor Ho Giya’ on his Instagram account, stating that the song will release on 3^rd February.

The poster gives a hint that the music track will be a peppy dance number, which will be hitting the music charts. It features the Sandhu in a funky and jovial avatar.

Along with Sandhu’s vocals, ‘Mashoor Ho Giya’ has Desi Crew’s music and Bunty Bains’ lyrics and composition. Whereas, the credit for direction goes to Harry Singh and Preet Singh.

So, Jordan Sandhu fans, mark your calendars for 3^rd February to update your playlist with another foot-tapping Punjabi song!

Just a few days ago, Gippy Grewal shared a picture of him along with Neha Sharma, with the caption ‘Galib’. It was evident that ‘Galib’ will be the first song of ‘Ik Sandhu Hunda Si’ which will release after the teaser of the same. 

Now more details of Galib have come out and according to Gippy Grewal, this song will be backed by the music of ace Punjabi music director – B Praak. 

Galib is believed to be a romantic song and will feature the lead couple of Gippy Grewal and Neha Sharma in it. The lyrics are being penned by Jaani. 

Releasing on February 28th, ‘Ik Sandhu Hunda Si’ is the first Rakesh Mehta directorial which will have Gippy Grewal as its lead hero. Rakesh Mehta has earlier worked with the likes of Deep Sidhu, Yuvraj Hans, Raghveer Boli, Gagan Kokri and Monica Gill in his films – Rang Panjab and Yaara Ve.

Also, Ik Sandhu Hunda Si is going to be the first movie of Neha Sharma in Punjabi cinema. While Neha will be marking her acting debut with Ik Sandhu Hunda Si, she’s earlier worked in Punjabi music industry with Diljit Dosanjh in one of his songs titled – Gulabbi Pagg. 

For those unaware, Ik Sandhu Hunda Si is going to be an action thriller based on the life of an ex-student for whom love is as important as his friendships. The film will release on 28th February. 

Gippy Grewal’s own production house – Humble Motion Pictures is producing this film along with Bally Singh Kakkar, who’s earlier produced ‘Yaara Ve’ – a film based on Indo-Pak partition in April 2019. 

Now we have to wait and watch how the chemistry of Gippy Grewal and Neha Sharma will fare at the box-office. The movie also stars other singer-actors like Roshan Prince and Babbal Rai also in it.

Gippy Grewal and Neha Sharma’s Ik Sandhu Hunda Si, is an upcoming Punjabi movie, the teaser of which was released recently. Now the first song of the movie featuring the lead duo, called ‘Galib’ is reportedly to be out soon.

After creating an impact and curiosity among the Punjabi audience with the release of their pre-teaser and then teaser the makers of Ik Sandhu Hunda Si seem to be all set to release the movie’s first track as well.

Today only, Gippy Grewal surprised his fans by sharing a picture of him along with his new heroine Neha Sharma – both looking romantically into each-others’ eyes.

He shared this photo on his social media profiles and also wrote a caption which clearly implies that ‘Galib’, the first song from Ik Sandhu Hunda Si, might get released any time – perhaps, even before the trailer of the movie.

Ik Sandhu Hunda Si, which is slated to get released on 28^th February is being jointly produced by Bally Singh Kakkar and Gippy Grewal’s Humble Motion Pictures.

As for the directorial credits, Ik Sandhu Hunda Si has been directed by noted director Rakesh Mehta, who’s behind films like Rang Panjab De and Yaara Ve.

An action thriller with a love story in the backdrop, Ik Sandhu Hunda Si’s action has been done by famous Bollywood action director – Sham Kaushal.

Ik Sandhu Hunda Si based on the life of a student who can do anything to protect his love and friends from the evil.

Before catching the attention of the Punjabi audience through the teaser and trailer, the makers of Sufna – Ammy Virk and Tania’s upcoming Punjabi movie – have released the first song of the movie, ‘QUBOOL A‘ featuring the lead heroine, Tania.

While the song is being received pretty well by the audience, Ammy Virk decided to pen a heartfelt note for Qubool A on his Instagram profile. 

Sharing his feelings about Qubool A, Ammy wrote,”

Sung by Hashmat and Sultana, Qubool A has been penned by Jaani and B Praak has done the music. The song has Sufi touch to both its lyrics and music, which has deepened ,the meaning of this beautiful love ballad and connected with the audience really well on emotional levels. 

Qubool A has already garnered more than 1.7 million views, which shows how much it is being received by the lovers of Punjabi music and cinema. 

Sufna directed by Jagdeep Sidhu, is being produced by Panj Paani Films and will release on Valentine’s Day i.e. 14th February 2020.

It is considered to be a part of Qismat series. 

While in Qismat, it was Sargun Mehta who starred opposite Ammy Virk and Tania played the second lead, in Sufna, Tania will play the female lead for the first time in her Punjabi movie career.

Babbu Mann, a huge name in the world of Punjabi music, surprisingly turned a music teacher for young singer Shipra Goyal.

Shipra Goyal who was practicing for her song Saah Chalde at a music studio met Babbu Mann there who gave her some precious little lessons on singing.

The video of this recording was shared on Babbu Mann’s Instagram as well from where it has now got viral among the netizens.

Shipra Goyal, a talented singer from Punjab, recently released a song named Saah Chalde which is receiving a good enough response from her fans.

In the viral video, you can see Babbu Mann sharing his expertise with Shipra. Babbu Mann’s experience comes from his highly successful singing career of about two decades.

Babbu Mann, who’s a household name in Punjab, achieved the pinnacle of success through songs like Mitran Di Chhatri, Saun Di Jhadi, Sharratta, Pind Paera Lagda and many more.

It won’t be wrong to say that Babbu Mann’s contribution to the world of Punjabi music shall be remembered by generations to come.

Though Babbu Mann has given many a super-hit in his music career, but unfortunately, his career as an actor never really took off after Hashar. His first film was Hawaayein released in 2003. He’s also done films like Ekam- the son of soil in which the female lead was Mandy Takhar. Ekam was Mandy Takhar’s first Punjabi movie. 

However, despite not giving many hits, Babbu Mann keeps doing Punjabi movies for his ardent fans who expect him to act in movies on a regular basis.

Babbu Mann has starred in films like Baaz and Banjara. Banjara was Babbu Mann’s last movie and was released in December 2018.

In Banjara, he played a triple role of that of a truck driver. The film revolved around the life of this truck driver spanning three generations.

A young boy from Bathinda, Sunny who used to make his living doing ‘Boot Polish’ will now sing a song in Jassie Gill and Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming Bollywood movie, Panga. 

Kangana Ranaut and Jassie Gill’s upcoming Bollywood movie – PANGA – has a number of reasons for being popular in Punjab even before its release. Besides having a Punjabi lead actor, Jassie Gill in it, Panga is also going to feature a song sung by Bathinda’s young singing talent, Sunny, who’s made his name by winning a Reality singing Show. 

This is not the first time though that Sunny will be doing a playback in a Bollywood movie. Even before Panga, Sunny’s voice was given a chance in Emraan Hashmi’s film ‘Rom Rom’. 

However, getting a chance to sing in a top Bollywood heroine like Kangana Ranaut is certainly a very big break for Sunny. 

Before participating in an Indian singing reality TV show, Sunny used to earn his and his family’s living by doing odd jobs in Bathinda. He used to polish boots of passers-by and along with that, he would also practice his singing. 

Although the name of the song that Sunny will sing hasn’t been revealed as yet, but the movie Panga releases on 24th January. 

Kangana Ranaut’s Panga’s trailer has received a humongous response from the audience already and so has its title track – Le Panga. 

Now we hope Sunny’s song for Panga will also emerge as a chartbuster and give him many more opportunities to showcase his talent in Bollywood and the world-over.
