Exclusive: Sonam Bajwa Talks About Her Alleged Relationship With Cricketer KL Rahul

Sonam Bajwa, the top actress in Punjabi cinema, recently revealed it all in this free-wheeling chat with Iampunjaabi.com – about her love life, her relationship with God and dating rumours with Indian cricketer KL Rahul, who is now in news for his relationship with Athiya Shetty – Suniel Shetty’s daughter.

When asked as to what exactly was cooking between her and KL Rahul till about a few months back, Sonam, in a dignified manner clarified that she and KL Rahul have been just good friends and that Rahul was actually giving her a “hard time” by consistently commenting on her Instagram pictures.

Well, we were glad that Sonam Bajwa is so honest about her life with her fans and didn’t even once try to dodge the question. Rumours had started afloating on the internet when sometime in June last year, Sonam captioned her Instagram picture as: “Watching sunset and thinking of you.” While we were clueless who the ‘who’ was there, Rahul’s comment seemed to have a hint. “Just a call away @sonambajwa,” wrote the Indian batsman. Then continued a series of such posts and comments for a while.

Sonam Bajwa was also in news recently for being chosen by Deepika Padukone for conducting her interview for Deepika’s movie Chhapaak. Deepika gave an interview to a private Punjabi channel and one of the most interesting parts of this interview was that Sonam made Deepika Padukone talk a few lines in Punjabi.

On her work front, Sonam Bajwa is busy these days promoting her new Punjabi movie with her Singham co-star Parmish Verma. The film is called Jinde Meriye and releases on 24th January. Jinde Meriye is written and directed by Pankal Batra, who’s behind films like High End Yaariyan, Bambukat, Sajjan Singh Rangroot etc.

Besides Jinde Meriye, Sonam Bajwa will also be seen with Ammy Virk in ‘Puaada’ and a couple of more projects.

Sonam Bajwa also grabbed national headlines recently for featuring with Ayushmann Khurrana in one of film Bala’s songs.

Guddiyan Patole, an Ammy Virk production is releasing on 8th of March i.e. next Friday! Apart from the two amazing songs that the filmmakers have doled out so far, this film is in news for its unique concept with its story based on the beautiful bond of a ‘Nani (Maternal Grandmother) and her ‘videshi’ dotiyaan (Grand daughters)! Fondly called as ‘Guddiyan’ by their Nani, the roles of these girls are played by Sonam Bajwa and Taniya.

She confessed of receiving a fan message from Gurnam two years back, least did she know that one day they both will be starring together.

Yuvraj Hans And Wife Mansi Sharma Will Be ‘Hero-Heroine’ Soon In A Suspense Thriller

The newly wed celebrity couple – Yuvraj Hans and Mansi Sharma – shared in an interview with Iampunjaabi.com that they’ll be working in a Punjabi suspense thriller together.

Yuvraj Hans said, “This is an untitled project but the shooting will begin in May itself in Amritsar. It’s being directed by Manbhavan Singh ji, the man behind Gelo. This film is going to be a suspense thriller and will be shot in two parts. The first part will release in 2019 only and the suspense from it will be carried in the 2nd installment which’ll release in 2020.”

Famous Punjabi youtubers King B Chouhan and Sammy Gill are all set to make their entry into the world of acting. Aditya Sood, the man behind Sharry Mann’s ‘Oye Hoye Pyar Ho Gaya’ is launching the duo with his film – Teri Meri Jodi, a period love drama – the shoot of which is currently being held in Patiala.

Written and directed by Aditya Sood, Teri Meri Jodi will also star a Hollywood actress Jazz in a pivotal role.

Yaara Ve: A New Still From The Movie Makes Us Anxiously Wait For its Release

All set to hit the theatres on April 5, Rakesh Mehta’s ‘Yaara Ve’ has managed to create quite a buzz in the world of Punjabi cinema. Based on the yet unexplored theme here (of 1947 Indo-Pak partition) Yaara Ve is primarily a story based on the lives of three friends but the female lead of the film – Monica Gill seems to be quite happy to be a part of it as well.

Today she shared a picture on her social media profiles featuring the heroes of the movie – Gagan Kokri, Raghveer Boli and Yuvraj Hans together having a conversation.

Going Down On His Knees, Parmish Verma Announces Next Film With Sonam Bajwa

Gal Ni Kadni fame singer Parmish Verma who’s busy these days shooting for the second schedule of his upcoming film Singham (Official Punjabi remake of Ajay Devgn’s Singham), recently made a big announcement wherein he not only went down on his on-screen love Sonam Bajwa but also made a new film announcement with her.

While Sonam is working with her in Singham, this fresh duo of Parmish-Sonam will now be seen in another film titled ‘Jind Meriye’.

Recently, the duo shared some fun videos while taking a break for the busy shooting schedule. In one of the videos, Parmish went down on his knees for his on-screen love interest Sonam Bajwa.

The makers of ‘Nadhoo Khan’ have today released the first look of the movie and it features the lead stars Harish Verma and Wamiqa Gabbi.
