Singer/actor Yuvraj Hans got hitched yesterday to his childhood sweetheart Mansi Sharma, who is been a part of TV Shows like Pavitra Rishta, Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev, Mahabharat, Chandra Nandni, and Uttaran etc.

The couple had made their relationship official in February 2017.

On their D-Day, groom Yuvraj Hans looked amazing in gold and blue sherwani while Mansi opted for blue and silver sharara paired with kundan and ruby jewellery.

Guddiyan Patole Trailer: When NRI ‘Guddiyans’ Visit Punjab

Presented by Villagers Film Studio, ‘Guddiyan Patole’ has released its trailer. Starring Gurnam Bhullar, Sonam Bajwa, and Tania in the lead, the movie is produced under Ammy Virk’s production house.

From the trailer, one can guess that Guddiyan Patole’s story revolves around two Canada-returned girls, Sonam Bajwa and Tania who meet their grandmother (Nirmal Rishi) in Punjab. Also, while the girls are winning the heart of their granny, Gurnam Bhullar develops soft feelings for the girls.

Though the main lead are Sonam Bajwa and Gurnam Bhullar yet one can guage from the trailer that the film might present a triangular love story. Releasing on 8th March, Guddiyan Patole is penned by Jagdeep Sidhu and directed by Vijay Kumar Arora. It’s bankrolled by Bhagwant Virk and Nav Virk.

Binnu Reacts On Kavita’s Decision: It’s Her Right NOT To Work With Me, But I would like to Work With Her 100%

Recently, Kavita Kaushik shook the Punjabi film world with her statement that she no longer wants to work with her Vekh Baraatan Challiyan and Vadhaiyiyan Ji Vadhayiyaan co-star Binnu Dhillon, the same actor with whom she made her debut in Punjabi cinema!

It all started when two days back she retweeted a Tweet by a leading daily which carried a link to an interview of hers in which she has made it clear quite blatantly that she will “never” work with Binnu Dhillon again. According to her, Binnu Dhillon’s movies are just about Binnu Dhillon and the audience comes to watch only him on the screen while she (Kavita) feels embarrassed to play that heroine who’s got nothing else to do except looking good and dancing around. She further said that she would like to work in films wherein a woman is also offered a meaty role!

Interestingly, this statement from Kavita Kaushik comes after the news broke out that she’s been replaced by Kulraj Randhawa in what was supposed to be her upcoming film with Binnu Dhillon – “Naukar Vahuti Da”. Could that also be one of the reasons for resentment with Binnu? To know this, the team of Iampunjaabi.com contacted Binnu Dhillon for his take on the burning issue.

This is what Binnu Dhillon said, “It’s a little surprising to know that Kavita ji, who I consider not just as a colleague but also a good friend has taken such a strong decision. However, it’s her right to do whatever she wants and I or nobody for that matter, can stop her from doing what she wants. I honestly believe that she’s a wonderful actress and her talent must come out in front of the Punjabi audience as well. I totally agree with her that she must do quality work and the audience must come to see her for her performance. In fact, I would be the happiest person the day she has marked her own identity in the industry exactly the way she wants.”

On asking if Binnu Dhillon would ever offer her any role, considering that she’s quite strongly made a statement of not working with him again, the Kala Shah Kala actor said, “If I am a producer of the film, and I have a script that requires an actress like her to play the role, I would 100% offer it to her and really really request her to do the film with me. I respect a talented actor like her.”

Speaking about Kavita’s eye-candy role in Vadhayiyaan Ji Vadhayiyaan, Binnu said, “I agree that in Vadhayiyaan Ji Vadhayiyaan she had that kind of a role in which she was required to play a charming Punjabi girl only but in Vekh Baraatan Challiyan, her role was as important as mine. If I talk about my recent film, Kala Shah Kala, the heroine (Sargun Mehta) has got equal importance and her character is as vital as mine. So I don’t agree that my films are just about me, myself.”

He added, “I can totally understand Kavita Kaushik’s resentment. There was a time when I used to do very small roles in big heroes films even when I knew that I was capable of more. My scenes were cut and it has taken me a long time and struggle and some tough decisions to reach a point in my career wherein the audience has accepted me as the male lead. That’s why I said that I would offer her a role whenever I get that kind of a script with me and I would be happy if she gets the kind of roles that she desires in others’ films.”

Speaking about Naukar Vahuti Da, Binnu said that he’s neither the producer or director of that film nor that big an actor who can have an influence over the casting decisions of the makers. He said that he’s absolutely no idea how the Kavita/Kulraj replacement happened.

On 14th February more than 40 CRPF Jawans lost their lives to a dastardly attack by terrorists in J&K’s Pulwama district. The same morning, Binnu Dhillon and Sargun Mehta’s much-awaited film ‘Kala Shah Kala’ released worldwide to an amazing response.

While the film easily crossed more than 1 crore at the box office on the first day itself, but Binnu Dhillon and Sargun Mehta, the lead pair of the movie, decided to stop talking about their film from next day itself. When a movie gets released so many actors usually put up pictures of their fans with tickets, keep talking about how successfull the movie is running, posting the dialogue promos, songs, posters and so much more. Diljit Dosanjh Comes Forward To Help CRPF martyrs’ families Financially

Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh has donated Rs 3,00,000 to the families of martyrs who lost their lives in Pulwama terror attack. Apart from Diljit, several Punjabi celebrities have extended their support to the martyrs’ families.

Singer/actor/producer Ammy Virk made the beginning when he announced that he would be donating Rs 10 lakh to the Punjabi martyrs’ family, followed by Ranjit Bawa and Badshah. We’re glad Diljit Dosanjh has come forward to help the martyred soldiers’ families monetarily. It shall definitely inspire many others.

Diljit Dosanjh heavily criticised For Promoting A “Valentine Song” Amidst National Tragedy

On one hand, the nation is mourning owing to Pulwana Terrorist Attack which resulted in the loss of more than 40 soldiers’ lives including four from Punjab, it seems that some Punjabi celebrities are not much in tune with what’s happening in our country.

While Punjabi celebs like Ammy Virk and Ranjit Bawa have gone ahead to offer financial help to the martyrs’ families in Punjab, and people like Binnu Dhillon stopped promoting his film, Punjabi singer/actor Diljit Dosanjh is even now promoting his “Valentine’s Day” song – Gabru Nu. Close behind is Gippy Grewal, who also received some backlash for posting a ‘Manje Bistre 2’ promotional images.

Diljit’s Gabru Nu released on 14th Feb and the tragedy occured on the same evening as well. However, both on 15th and 16th Feb, Diljit Dosanjh has been posting about his song and this act of his, it seems hasn’t gone down too well with his fans.

Diljit Dosanjh had even pinned the “Perfect Date Night” Post On Twitter.

Ranjit Bawa Comes Forward To Extend Financial Help To Pulwama Martyrs’ Families

After Ammy Virk, Punjabi singer/actor Ranjit Bawa has shown the spirit of true patriotism and large-heartedness by extending financial help to the families of martyrs from Punjab who sacrificed their lives for the protection of their nation in the dastardly Pulwama terrorist attack.

Ranjit Bawa declared on Facebook today that though whatever amounts he donates it can never make up for the loss that the families have suffered, yet he would like to offer Rs 2.5 lakh each to the martyred soldiers’ families. Ranjit Bawa, who’ll soon be seen in Pankaj Batra’s High End Yaariyaan (releasing on 22nd February) made this announcement on his Facebook page today.

We salute Ranjit Bawa for actually coming forward and offering help, not only in the form of prayers but also, financially!

On 14th February, A terrorist drove up a car carrying 60 kg of RDX explosives next to a security convoy on the Jammu-Srinagar highway and triggered the explosives in what is the worst terror attack to take place in Kashmir since the start of the century. Ammy Virk Decides To Donate Rs 10 Lakh To Martyrs in Pulwama Terrror Attack

While most celebrities have expressed their sadness on their social media regarding the recent terror attack on Indian CRPF Jawans in Pulwama district of J&K, Ammy Virk takes a step forward and announced today that he wants to extend help to the families of the fallen servicemen from Punjab who lost their life in the Pulwana attack.

In a big statement on social media, Ammy Virk wrote in both Punjabi and English :

It may be brought to notice that Ammy Virk, owner of production house – Village Studios – decided to even postpone the title track of his upcoming film – Guddiyan Patole( starring Gurnam Bhullar and Sonam Bajwa) in the wake of this national tragedy. He said that his conscience “couldn’t allow him to release a ‘Happy Song’ when the entire nation was crying.”

We certainly salute the spirit of patriotism in Ammy Virk. He’s certainly not just limited his emotions to only social media, rather he’s gone ahead to do something tanglible for the martyrs’ families.
