This Friday’s release, Mindo Taseeldarni is a Punjabi romantic comedy drama movie which features a middle-aged bachelor Tejja (Karamjit Anmol) who creates a hoax about his affair with Mindo (Kavita Kaushik) who is an upper-class and well-educated Taseeldarni.

The writer and director of the movie, Avtar Singh has made an effort to provide a contrast between a proper desi guy and a girl from the elite class. While the social message seems to miss the mark a little, the elements of comedy and drama keep the audience glued till the end.

Singer-turned actor, Rajvir Jawanda is seen playing the role of Karamjit Anmol’s brother and Isha Rikhi is seen playing the role of Kavita Kaushik’s sister. It is only at army man, Rajvir Jawanda and Isha Rikhi’s wedding that Tejja and Mindo cross roads with each other. The supporting cast of the movie which includes Harby Sangha, Rupinder Rupi, Parkash Gadhu, Sardar Sohi, and Malkeet Rauni add more volume to the storyline with their proficient acting skills.

Produced by Rajiv Singla and Karamjit Anmol, Mindo Taseeldarni received massive response from Punjabis across the global.

A City Beautiful based entrepreneur, Simranjeet Kaur found the movie to be a light entertainer and a family watch. “I liked the acting of the star-cast and the comedy element which tickled the funny bone,” she shared.

According to media reports, Ammy Virk, Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn, Rana Daggubati, Sonakshi Sinha, and Parineeti Chopra starrer Bollywood film, ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’ has gone on floor. The shooting of the film began today at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.

 

Noted film critic tweeted the same information too and also announced the release date which is 14 August 2020.

Earlier reports confirmed Ammy Virk’s significant role in Bhuj – The Pride Of India in whihc he shall be seen playing an IAF pilot during the 1971 war. The film, reportedly, will celebrate the courage of 300 women of Madhapur in Gujarat, who played a pivotal part in India’s victory over Pakistan in 1971 war by coming together to repair the only runway in Bhuj, which was destroyed during the war.

Bhuj – The Pride Of India is going to be Ammy Virk’s second Bollywood project. He earlier bagged a crucial role in ’83 based on India’s 1983 ICC World cup victory.

The Punjabi film industry is seen to be counting days for the upcoming comic drama movie, Mindo Taseeldarni which promises rich content and dollops of comic & drama with Karamjit Anmol, Kavita Kaushik, Isha Rikhi, and Rajvir Jawanda in pivotal roles.

The underlining story of the movie hails from a romantic tale between a proper desi guy and a girl from an elite class of the society who fall in love with each other. While Karamjit Anmol is seen to be playing the role of the desi boy, Vadhaiyaan Ji Vadhaiyan and Vekh Barataan Challiyaan fame actress, Kavita Kaushik will be seen playing the role of Mindo, a girl from the elite class.

Karamjit Anmol recently confessed that romancing on screen with Kavita Kaushik was not really his cup of tea, but it was only due to the adjusting and accommodating nature of Kavita that things could work out comfortably.

Providing an insight into her part of the story, Kavita shared, “Karamjit is very cute and he is very shy in person. He was shy even when he had to give me a romantic look, let alone romancing me. I kept on telling him that you know you have to do it this way, it’s the demand of the scrip. Also, our height difference was one of the prominent reasons; let’s address the elephant in the room, he had to romance a 6 feet girl. However, I told him that even my real life husband is an inch or half smaller than me, and then with heels, girls anyway look taller, so don’t worry our jodi will rock the screen.”

“To be honest, this difference of our height and appearance is the real beauty of the movie. It shows how two different puzzle pieces are meant to fit perfectly to form something unique,” she further added.

Presenting a unique tale enacted by talented actors from both sides of the border, the team of Rhythm Boyz Entertainment is back with a film titled – Chal Mera Putt. 

Starring Amrinder Gill and Simi Chahal in the lead, Chal Mera Putt shall get released on 26th July and will clash with another Punjabi film, ‘Teri Meri Jodi’ and a Hindi film, ‘Arjun Patiala’ starring Diljit Dosanjh. 

Talking about the first poster, it shows seven characters from the film including the lead pair in dashing clothing, paired with sunglasses. From the first look, Chal Mera Putt seems to be a modern-day story with possibly some action too.

The upcoming Punjabi comic drama movie is written and directed by Avtar Singh, whose other notable directorial credits include Mitti Na Pharol Jogiya (2015) and the 2017 action drama film Rupinder Gandhi 2: The Robinhood.

In addition to Kavita Kaushik and Karamjit Anmol, the movie also stars Rajvir Jawanda and Isha Rikhi in pivotal roles. Rajvir Jawanda, who was recently seen playing the lead role in Punjabi romantic movie Jind Jaan, will be spotted playing the role of an army man and a close ally of Karamjit Anmol.

Talking to PTI, Aamir Khan had earlier revealed, “We have started the prep work on the film. The shoot will start from October. I will be prepping for six months. I have to lose weight. I will be losing 20 kilos. I have to be lean and slim.”
