Upcoming Punjabi movie Ardab Mutiyaran is all set to strike a chord with the audiences owing to its rich character – based content, talented star cast and modern day storyline.

 Drifting apart from the usual comedy and period movie genres, Ardab Mutiyaran has taken the road less travelled by narrating the tale of two empowered women who battle for domination while juggling on the personal as well as professional front.

Deep-rooted in the real life scenarios that we all tend to encounter, Ardab Mutiyaran will provide a sneak-peak into the intermingling of different cultures and how today’s millennial women are paving their way to the zenith of success with utmost grace and elegance.

Syncing with the same, Manav Shah, the director of the movie shared, “Ardab Mutiyaran is the first-of-its-kind urban family drama movie that has a very modern storyline. It is a complete family package and has many strong messages in store that will always stay with the viewers.”

Ardab Mutiyaran stars Sonam Bajwa, Ninja, Mehreen Kaur Pirzada, BN Sharma, Upasana Singh, Navneet Nishan, Inderpal Singh, and Sudesh Lehri in pivotal roles. The movie will also mark the entry of television actor, Ajay Sarkaria in the Punjabi film industry.

“Ajay is an incredibly talented actor. I attended a few workshops with him and I was amazed to see his hard work and passion towards acting. He has done absolute justice to his character in the movie and I am affirmative that it will prove to be a great launching pad for him in the industry,” stated Shah who recently directed Sikander 2 starring Kartar Cheema, Nikeet Dhillon and Guri.

Adding to that film producers Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmord Sidhu (Whitehill Studios) unanimously opined that Ajay Sarkaria has everything in him needed to make him into the next “big thing” in Pollywood. “A stunning mix of good looks and talent, his acting in Ardab Mutiyaran will surely win hearts of many. “

Ardab Mutiyaran ‘  screenplay is written by ace screenwriter Dheeraj Rattan. The movie is all set to release on October 18, 2019.

This Friday’s Punjabi movie release, Tara Mira has already set the social media ablaze with its intriguing trailer and foot-tapping music that is being appreciated by Punjabis from across the globe. So, we dive deep into what makes Tara Mira not just a usual Punjabi movie. Here are the five reasons that top the list:

1. Guru Randhawa’s production debut: Tara Mira is going to mark the production debut of Indian singer, songwriter and music composer, Guru Randhawa who has an array to chartbuster songs to his credit including Slowly Slowly, Made in India and High Rated Gabru. Randhawa has produced the movie in association with Ashok Yadav, Rajiv Dhingra, Jyoti Sekhon and Shilpa Sharma, under the banners of 751 Films, Rapa Nui’s Films, Yadu Production and Red Eyes Productions. Randhawa is seen to be super-excited about the release of Tara Mira and the same is evident on his social media handles.

2. A musical love story: Definitely the first Punjabi movie wherein the producer as well as the lead actor is primarily a singer, Tara Mira promises to be a musical love story that will be high on chartbuster tracks. When Guru Randhawa and Ranjit Bawa met at a youth festival during college days, the duo never imagined to have such a historic association years later. “I am really glad to have associated with Guru for Tara Mira. Both of us really excited about the movie and we are affirmative that it will be loved by the audiences,” shared Bawa.

3. Ranjit Bawa and Nazia Hussain’s first time on-screen Jodi: Tara Mira is all set to welcome a new face to the Punjabi film industry, Nazia Hussain who made her acting debut in the Bollywood film, Say Yes to Love (2012). “As an actor, I always wanted to explore my skill set in different languages and one fine day, I received a call from the wife of Rajiv Dhingra that they wanted to discuss a script with me and it took just one meeting for us to seal the deal. I really liked the character of Mira which has a split of a Bihari and Punjabi girl that motivated me to take the plunge,” shared Nazia who will be seen sharing screen with singer – turned – actor Ranjit Bawa. Bawa will be seen playing the lead role after a long time. His previous solo movies include Toofan Singh (2017), Bhalwan Singh (2017), and Khido Khundi (2018) to name a few.
4. An amalgamation of romance and drama: Tara Mira will strike a balance between romance and drama with its close-knit tale of loving across borders. A tale on the lines of immortal love stories like Heer-Ranjha, Laila-Majnu and Sassi-Pannuh, Tara Mira is ready to set new benchmarks in the Punjabi film industry.

5. A strong supporting star-cast: Tara Mira has a proficient star-cast with Gurpreet Ghuggi, Yograj Singh, Sudesh Lehri, Rajvir Thakur, and Anita Devgn in pivotal roles. The movie is written and directed by Rajiv Dhingra and is slated to release worldwide on 11th October.

After impressing the Punjabi audience as ‘Gill Bai’ in Mar Gaye Loko last year, superstar and versatile actor Binnu Dhillon returns as a goon once again in an upcoming Punjabi film titled JAGGA 7/51. 

Written by Jass Grewal, the film will not only star Binnu as the lead hero but will also be produced by him along with Omjee Star Studios. 

Speaking about the film, the actor told iampunjaabi.com that Jagga 7/51 will provide a glimpse to another facet of his personality to the fans and he is sure that the movie’s storyline will impress everyone. According to him, Jagga 7/51 will trace the life journey of a goon. 

While the name of the heroine is still not revealed, what we know so far is that Jagga 7/51 will release on 10th April 2020.

Introducing Nazia Hussain, who actually happens to be Sanjay Dutt’s niece, Tara Mira is all set to get released on 11th October. While sharing the fact that she’s Sanjay Dutt’s real niece, the actress said that this fact didn’t have any effect on the way she was brought up by her family.

 “While people had this misconception about me that I was born and brought up with a silver spoon in my mouth, the reality was very different. I was never exposed to the world of glamour during childhood and my parents ensured that I had a normal upbringing just like other kids. However, at the same time, I was intrinsically fond of music and movies as a child, and the interest only strengthened as I grew up,” shared Nazia who is the niece to Bollywood star, Sanjay Dutt.

Nazia made her acting debut in the Bollywood film, Say Yes to Love (2012) but rose to fame through her role in Telugu romantic musical drama film Nee Jathaga Nenundali (2014).

“As an actor, I always wanted to explore my skill set in different languages and one fine day, I received a call from the wife of Rajiv Dhingra that they wanted to discuss a script with me and it took just one meeting for us to seal the deal. I personally loved the concept of the story and the role that I was expected to play which motivated me to sign this movie,” informed Nazia with a satisfactory smile on her face.

The first-of-its kind Punjabi romantic drama movie, Tara Mira is written and directed by Rajiv Dhingra and produced by Guru Randhawa, Ashok Yadav, Rajiv Dhingra, Jyoti Sekhon and Shilpa Sharma, under the banners  of 751 Films, Rapa Nui’s Films, Yadu Production and Red Eyes Productions.

Earlier this year, the actress took the 10 year fitness challenge that stood testament to her natural weight loss and determination. The actress is really enthralled to be a part of the Punjabi movie, Tara Mira parallel to Ranjit Bawa. The movie is scheduled to release on 11^th October.

Ever since the announcement of Punjabi movie, Jodi was made early this year, the fans of both Diljit Dosanjh and Amrinder Gill were amused as the title poster conveyed that both these megastars will produce this film together. 

Now according to latest reports, the shoot of Jodi has started in Amritsar. However, the makers have still kept the information about the female lead of the film under the carpet. But some sources have revealed that the heroine of Diljit and Amrinder’s Jodi will be Nimrat Khaira. 

Nimrat Khaira, made her debut as an actress with Tarsem Jassar last year with ‘Afsar’. The movie went without a trace at the box-office though. Let’s see how the ‘jodi’ of Nimrat and Diljit works in ‘JODI’. 

Jodi has been written and directed by Amberdeep. Though earlier it was reportedly an Amrinder Gill and Diljit Dosanjh joint production. But as of now the producers are Rhythm Boyz Entertainment and Dalmora Films.

The release date of Manav Shah directorial ‘Ardab Mutiyaran’ is coming close and the Punjabi audience can’t wait to watch this unique film which seems to be a fun take on feminism.
