Also present at the launch, Thevasa’s design head Archi Modi said, “The women of Chandigarh are well known for their sartorial style – global in outlook but with their hearts in India. They are very aligned with the Thevasa Woman – unique as a global personality and proud of Indian artistic traditions. We are confident that they will love the collections that we have in store for them – and there’s something for everyone!”

Thevasa’s retail expansion & merchandising head Deepanshi Sehrawat further said, “Chandigarh is truly a cosmopolitan city that beautifully blends modernity with elegance of traditional design aesthetics. Against the picturesque backdrop of Effiel Tower in Paris stunning models tried sensuous winter makeovers and showcased the international looks created by Beauty and makeover experts Richa Aggarwal and Harveen Kathuria and young student from Cleopatra Beauty Academy.  The occasion also saw fashionistas and beauty experts from Paris exchanging and showcasing traditional and international trends and tips.

Richa shared following beauty tips for skin and hair and ideas on prepping up looks for makeovers in winters.

Color PALETTE:  Color red will remain in vogue in this season and fashionistas will go for dark reds and dark Pink which is burgeoning. Tones like old rose, lilac-pink, fuchsia, and baby pink. will also rule makeup looks.  Muted hues of bronze-brown with primrose pink would be sought after too.

For Eyes: Kohl is in vogue these days, and winter is the best time to apply it too, to make the eyes look prominent. Light color mascara adds to the beauty. Apply your makeup meticulously and don’t pile on that makeup on your face. Don’t use heavy pencils or dark shadows to define your brows. Do the talking with eyes so gold mixed with dark shades like brown and burgundy this season would rule the scene, but blending should be done neatly and nicely and for eyeliner, a mix of blue and black is suggested. even green and deep blue are the happening colors of this season for depth and intensity.

Lips

The choice of lipstick should be completely in accordance with the skin tone and complexion. A mix of soft peach and orange to offer a very dewy fresh  For girls with darker skin tone a good  mix of beige and brown always looks great. Don’t forget to top it up with hint of gloss. Lip liners with a darker tone than your lipstick for defining or outlining your lips are a complete no-no . Lipstick should compliment your outfit. Avoid pale colors and flashy colors

Face
For face avoid very glittery blusher as it shines extra in your wedding pictures and makes it look like a wet face. For brides with darker skin tone, copperish blush topped up with a slight bronzer do the trick. If you have a lighter skin tone, go in for colors like peach or soft baby pink for the day wedding and for night one could go in for slightly darker shades with just a hint of shimmer. Be a blushing bride and opt for warm flattering cheek color in a pinky peach or rose. For oily skin, powder blushes are a perfect choice, but if your skin tends to be a bit dry, try a cream blush to achieve a dewy natural glow.

Nails
Experiment with nail art and nail shades and colors like gold, peach, and maroon, add a lot of sheen and color. Use everything with the right balance.
