Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh: Gippy Grewal and Sargun Mehta’s ‘NokJhonk’ Continues

Chandigarh Amrtisar Chandigarh starring Gippy Grewal and Sargun Mehta is one unique experiment that happened in our industry that you just can’t afford to miss watching at any cost! Both Gippy and Sargun rock as a couple on-screen and their funny yet cute “Tom and Jerry” acts continue to entertain us.

Though the film is doing well at the box-office, yet the actors are making sure that nobody is left getting entertained from this one-of-kind-movie that revolves around the life of just two people and the movie’s timeline spans across just one day. Directed by Karan Guliani and produced by Sumit Dutt, Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh has received rave reviews from both critics and public.

Unique genres of movies are marking their entry into the Ballewood industry and one such Punjabi movie is the modern age love story, Jind Jaan. Starring Rajvir Jawanda and Sara Sharmaa in the lead roles, Jind Jaan is a full family package movie with elements of comedy, romance, drama, action, and art.Highlighting the same, the director of the movie, Darshan Bagga shared, “Jind Jaan is a modern age youth-oriented love story which is a complete masala movie with elements of emotions and comedy.”

“There has been a paradigm shift in the Punjabi film industry over the past few years and the industry is booming at a fast rate. The reach of the movies has gone global and the audiences loving content-driven movies. I have put my heart and soul in making Jind Jaan and I am affirmative that it will be highly appreciated by the audiences,” added Darshan Bagga who has made his comeback in the Ballewood industry after a short break of a few years.

Zinda Shaheed: Bollywood Film On M.S. Bitta Head Of ‘All India Anti-Terrorist Front’ Announced

The man who heads the All India Anti-Terrorist Front, M.S. Bitta will now have a movie made based on his life, highlighting the part in his life when he survived an assassination bid in the mid-1990s. The film will be titled as ‘Zinda Shaheed’.

Well-known film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his official Twitter handle to share the news with his fans. He posted few pictures of MS Bitta along with the producers Shailendra Singh and Priya Gupta and captioned them as: “A biopic on MS Bitta… Producers Shailendra Singh and Priya Gupta acquire rights to the life story of MS Bitta… Biopic is titled #ZindaShaheed… Starts first half of 2020… Director and cast will be announced soon.”

Ammy Virk Leaves For London With Ranveer Singh And Team For Shoot Of ’83

[h4]In an exclusive interview to Iampunjaabi.com, the turbaned actor Ammy Virk, who is making his Bollywood debut with Ranveer Singh’s ’83, told us that he is all set to begin the shoot of ’83 in London, his debut Hindi film in which he plays the role of a cricketer named, Balwinder Sandhu. [/h4]

In a candid chat, Virk said that while he totally enjoyed the practice and training sessions with the cast and crew of ’83, he is now extremely happy to go to London for the actual shoot to begin. When we asked what new has he learnt so far while being the Bollywood team, he said, “Punjabis are hugely talented and they are known for their talent and hardwork allover India. I am glad that I could use my experience in our Punjabi industry and rise up to the expectations pinned upon me. I am always there for my Punjabi films. Right now, I am looking forward to start the shoot that’s about to begin in London.”

Laiye Je Yaariyan Trailer: Business, Revenge, Romance, Confusion And A Lot More!

When the news of a film called ‘Laiye Je Yaariyan’ made noise in our industry, most of us thought it would be yet another Punjabi emotional drama with a dose of comedy revolving around friendships and the related emotions. However, the trailer of Laiye Je Yaarian is refreshingly mind-blowing – surprising us with its modern-day treatment, business and revenge drama and of course, a lot of twists and turns!

One of the highlights of the trailer has to be Roopi Gill’s character as the boss of Harish Verma. Adorning a curly-brown-Kangana-like short hairstyle, the lady looks like just a modern-day diva – fierce, independent, charming and intelligent! Complementing her is Harish Verma, who looks absolutely comfortable in this role, appearing as a new-age smart employee with a lot of smartness and certainly, ‘much in demand’! Add to this chemistry, the lovely Rubina Bajwa, who just looks perfect as a banker and who Harish’s character falls in love with! But who does Roopi end up giving her heart to? See if you can infer anything from the trailer!

[h4]Here begins the confusion. Just when we think Laiye Je Yaariyan might develop into another triangular love story, enters Amrinder Gill barging into the screen as “Garry Randhawa”, who seemingly, brings a new turn to the story. [/h4]

Ardaas Karaan Teaser Is Out And Here’s What We Think About It

[h4]The teaser of Ardaas Karaan, the sequel of 2016 hit ‘Ardaas’ was released yesterday. Directed and produced by Gippy Grewal, the movie is written by Rana Ranbir along with Gippy and shall hit the theatres on 19th July.[/h4]

Providing a nice detour from the concrete jungle that we live in, Ardaas Karaan is a story with spirituality and human emotions as its basis, forcing you to take a break from the everyday world and ponder a bit about real meaning of life, which runs much deeper than we think.

[h4]The soothing music in the film is provided by Jatinder Shah while the lyrics of its songs are by Happy Raikoti and Ricky Khan.[/h4]

The teaser shows a couple of artistes like Gurpreet Ghuggi and also includes a surprise debut by Gippy’s own son, Gurfateh Singh (Shinda), who is seen praying to the Almighty.

‘Muklawa’ Wins Over ‘Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh’ In The Box Office Battle

[h4]Although both Ammy-Sonam’s Muklawa and Gippy-Sargun’s Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh released on the same day last week and opened well, but as far as the numbers are concerned, Muklawa clearly beat CAC in the first weekend.[/h4]

According to Box Office India, on May 24th, Friday, the Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa starrer ‘Muklawa’ made a business of Rs.1,02,00,000, while the Gippy Grewal and Sargun Mehta’s ‘Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh’ earned Rs.51,00,000. Till Sunday, the all India net collection of ‘Muklawa’ was Rs.4,14,00,000 and ‘Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh’ collected Rs.2,12,00,000. Now let’s see how the two movies do on the weekdays, and will we be witnessing any change in the equation or not.

The team of Muklawa celebrated the opening day collection by posting cutting a cake along with the director and producer of the film and Ammy Virk separately posted the same video too expressing his happy emotions.

Jind Jaan: “We shot in -20 degrees temperature in Georgia”, Says the producer

[h4]The upcoming Punjabi movie Jind Jaan has a fine eye for art and production finesse; taking Ballewood a notch higher. [/h4]

Rajiv Jawanda and Sara Sharmaa starring upcoming Punjabi movie, Jind Jaan is a complete family package with elements of romance, comedy, drama and emotions and releases on 14th June.

Shot in various locations across the globe, Jind Jaan has a proficient technical team from Bollywood who have taken the production element of Ballewood a notch higher, shared film Producer Karan Aggarwal.

“As a child, I always used to look up to Yash Raj Films and the kind of production finesse that they used in their movies. Now I understood the kind of hardwork that goes into it curating all that flamboyancy,” he said.

“For one scene, we shot in -20 degrees temperature in Georgia wherein the actress was wearing just a saree and the actor was wearing just a t-shirt in the chilling cold. It has been captured aesthetically and the credit goes to our Director of Photography and other technical crew who made it possible,” Aggarwal further added.

Directed by Darshan Bagga, Jind Jaan is produced by Pawan Aggarwal & Karan Aggarwal under the banner of BRS Films. The storyline is penned by Naresh Kathooria and it also stars Jaswinder Bhalla, Upasana Singh, Harby Sangha, Gaurav Kakkar, and Swatantra Bharat in prominent roles.
