“I was earlier approached for playing ‘Mindo’ but when ‘Jeeto’ was narrated to me, I felt more connected to it and the makers also agreed with the same. It really doesn’t matter if its second lead or first lead, as in ‘Mindo Taseeldarni’, the story is all about characters. I think this character will be the turning point of my career” said Isha talking to a leading daily.

The first-of-its-kind romantic comedy movie, Jind Jaan is all set to release worldwide on June 14, 2019. Written and directed by Darshan Bagga, the movie traces a modern age love story of a boy and a girl.
Providing an insider’s view into his role in the movie, lead actor Rajvir Jawanda shared with Iampunjaabi.com, “I am playing the role of a boy who sings very well and goes abroad from Punjab for a job. There he gets a job to teach music to a wealthy girl in a foreign country. That’s where the love story begins.”
Extremely excited to step into the Punjabi film industry in the lead role, Rajvir Jawanda also added, “I have already acted in Simarjeet Singh’s film ‘Subedar Joginder Singh’, but ‘Jind Jaan’ is my first film as a lead role. Acting has always been a dream for me and I am lucky that singing helped me chase this dream.”
He will be seen acting parallel to a renowned face in the South Indian film industry, Sara Sharmaa who will make a debut in the Punjabi film industry with Jind Jaan. Ltd. The production house is all set to release its first independent romantic comedy movie, Munda Faridkotia worldwide on June 14.
The backbone behind many blockbuster Punjabi movies like Punjab 1984, Saab Bahadar, Sardaar Ji series, and Lajwanti, Dalmora Entertainment has earlier been critically and commercially acclaimed for its pursuit of excellence.

“When Mandeep Singh Chahal (the director) narrated the script of ‘Munda Faridkotia’, I found it so fresh and close-to-heart that at once, I decided to get myself involved in each step of its making. Hence I decided to be the producer of the film,” shared Thind with a sense excitement on his face.
“Munda Faridkotia has really good music and the quality of film is on par with Bollywood films. It is an interesting film and an emotional drama and comedy combination, something that the Punjabi audience is always looking for,” he added.
Co-produced by Monty Sikka, the movie is directed by Mandeep Singh Chahal who has earlier directed movies like Arjan (2017) and Punjabian Da King (2015). From the trailer, DSP Dev seems to be a film about a police officer DSP Dev (played by Dev Kharoud) who is honest and wants to completely eradicate crime from the city. He also meets a girl who he falls in love with but amidst all this, he is transferred to a new location where law and order is in real bad shape.
In his fight against crime and dishonesty though, Dev himself gets trapped and is accused of being dishonest. How he fights for justice and comes clean, for that we’ll have to watch the film in the theatre.

With an estimated budget of 8 Crores, the movie stands at par with the Bollywood standards in terms of production finesse. While highlighting the same Karan said, “For one scene, we shot in -20 degrees temperature in Georgia wherein the actress was wearing just a saree and the actor was wearing just a t-shirt in the chilling cold. It has been captured aesthetically and the credit goes to our Director of Photography and other technical crew who made it possible. It took a lot of hard work to create that flamboyancy.”
