Great news has come in for the fans of Ajay Devgn’s popular film series, ‘Golmaal’. The producers have now made an announcement of its’ fifth installment which will also star Ajay Devgn in the lead. 

This news was shared with the public by Ajay Devgn himself when he tweeted a photo of himself with Rohit Shetty, the director of Golmaal series. He captioned the image as:

“A film franchise which is not only the longest running one in hindi cinema but also happens to be one of my favourites! Prepare yourself for yet another laugh riot with #GolmaalFive. #RohitShetty @Shibasishsarkar @RelianceEnt @RSPicturez.”

It maybe recalled that Golmaal franchise began with 2006’s ‘Golmaal: Fun Unlimited’, followed by ‘Golmaal Returns’ in 2008, ‘Golmaal 3’ in 2010 and ‘Golmaal Again’ in 2017.

While Golmaal 5 will be directed by Rohit Shetty again, it will be produced by Rohit and Shibasish Sarkar.

The news of Golmaal Five has brought a lot of joy with Punjabi cinema lovers as well as Ajay Devgn is a popular face in Punjab owing to his association with Punjabi film industry recently. His another very popular series, Singham was remade in Punjabi starring Parmish Verma and Sonam Bajwa in the lead roles. 

As far as the collaboration of Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty goes the duo have worked together in total 10 films so far and now they seem to be really delighted for Golmaal FIVE. 

At the moment, Rohit Shetty is busy shooting for his another film Sooryavanshi, which features Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif as the lead pair. It is all set to release on March 27, 2020. Ajay Devgn is waiting for the release of his 100^th film ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’.

Reacting angrily towards the horrific incident of Hyderabad veterinary doctor’s rape and murder wherein the victim was burnt to death, Punjabi actor and producer Binnu Dhillon said that he really wishes ‘someone in power would burn the rapists alive too.”

Binnu Dhillon expressed his grief on his social media today and strongly demanded justice. He captioned his Instagram post as:

“I can’t even say RIP .. coz how would her soul even Rest In Peace when such inhumanity has been done to her alive . I just really wish that someone in power would burn the rapists alive too ???????? #India ????????needs strictet laws fr #Rape”

It is reported that Aamir Khan stayed inside the Gurudwara and also participated in the Gurbani Kirtan along with some members of Shiromani Sikh Committee. 

Although the Perfectionist Khan stayed away from the media throughout his visit but he was smiling to his fans who clicked his pictures and now they’re viral on the internet.

Laal Singh Chadha will release in 2020 and it is the official Bollywood remake of Tom Hanks’ ‘Forrest Gump’, which is an Oscar-award winning movie. 

[h4]While traveling by car to Manali to shoot for Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Brahmastra’, one of the most renowned actors of Hindi film industry, Amitabh Bachchan, wrote a long blog post hinting his retirement which has seriously upset his fans. [/h4]

It may be recalled that Senior Bachchan has been in news for his bad health of late and now the actor has even written about it in one of his blog posts in which he said that he “feels he should retire soon because his body is giving him signs and it’s a message.”

Talking about his retirement, he also said, “thank you all those stop overs on the way here .. a ride of almost 12 hours by car on roads under repair and roads of great smoothness and finesse .. .. another new environ and another readjustment to room and its accoutrements..”

He added, “I must retire .. the head is thinking something else and the fingers another .. its a message..”

It won’t be an exaggeration to say that franchise of Carry On Jatta which had its first outing in 2012 had revolutionised the way people looked up to Punjabi cinema. The film is a cult classic and enjoys its following amongst not just the current generation but also the children and our grandparents! 

While Gippy Grewal and Mahie Gill led the movie in 2012, the sequel which released in 2018 had Gippy and Sonam in the lead. Directed by Smeep Kang, the film also boasts of having the best of the talent from the industry including the likes of Binnu Dhillon, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Rana Ranbir, Jaswinder Bhalla, B.N. Sharma, Karamjit Anmol, Sardar Sohi and many others.

The shoot of Chal Mera Putt’s sequel (Chal Mera Putt 2), a Punjabi movie starring Pakistani actors, Nasir Chinyoti, Akram Udas and Ifthikar Thakur and Indian actors like Amrinder Gill and Simi Chahal has started in the United Kingdom today.

Neeru Bajwa’s younger sister, Rubina Bajwa is gearing up for her upcoming Punjabi movie, ‘Gidhar Singhi’ which is scheduled to release on November 22.

The official poster of the movie features Rubina Bajwa and Jordan Sandhu. While Rubina is seen donning the classic Punjabi girl avtar, Sandhu has been spotted holding a carrot as a microphone.

Jassie Gill, who is these days prepping up for his Bollywood movie with Kangana Ranaut, ‘Panga’, shared an adorable picture with his little munchkin on his social media accounts. In the photograph, Roojas is dressed in a cute white dress while Jassie is wearing an ethnic attire.
