Fast rising popular singer Singga (Beer fame), has signed yet another film after signing his debut Punjabi movie, ‘Jora – The Second Number’. His next film is will Sansar Sandhu and is given a very interesting name: Dhara 420/302.
From the name itself, one can easily guess that Dhara 420/302 starring Singga is going to be an action film as these particular sections in IPC stand for theft and murder both.

Galwakdi will not be for the first time that Tarsem Jassar and Wamiqa Gabbi will be starring together. In fact Wamiqa Gabbi has acted with Tarsem Jassar before – not as a lead – but in a guest appearance in 2019’s Rabb Da Radio 2 – the sequel of Tarsem Jassar’s debut Pollywood movie Rabb Da Radio that was hugely successful on Box-office in 2017.
As far as Tarsem Jassar’s film career is concerned, the actor has come a long way since his first movie Rabb Da Radio. His next movie which released in the same year i.e. 2017 was Sardar Mohammad which received a great response both critically and commercially.
After Sardar Mohammad, Tarsem Jassar acted in another Punjabi movie called ‘Afsar’, which unfortunately tanked at the box-office and was a huge flop. But his next movie, Uda Aida, which released in February 2019 was a super-hit and widely acclaimed critically as well.
Wamiqa Gabbi has also bagged quite a lot of films this year. From Nadhoo Khan to Doorbeen and now Galwakdi – Gabbi’s hands are full with a number of Punjabi movies. Besides Pollywood, Gabbi has bagged a big Hindi movie project as well. She will be acting opposite Ammy Virk in Ranvir Singh’s upcoming Bollywood movie on 1983 Cricket World Cup which India won.

This unusual poster confirms our belief that Zakhmi is definitely not going to be a run-of-the-mill Punjabi movie – rather something really surprising!

While sharing the first day shoot picture of Rang, Gurnam Bhullar wrote a heartfelt note. He said that it’s every artiste’s dream that he or she gets to play one such character in life for which he/she is remembered forever.
“‘Rang’ is one such character of my life and I am thankful to the entire team of this film for offering me this role,” he said.
Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, Rang is produced by Dalmora Films and Villagers Films Studios. Besides Rang, Gurnam Bhullar will also be seen in another film with Sargun Mehta (after Surkhi Bindi) which is as of now titled as – ‘Sohreyan De Pind’.

On behalf of Gippy Grewal, who is in Canada these days, the film’s director Rana Ranbir took to social media to share the pictures of the ‘Muhurat’ of Posti. Along with the pictures, he also mentioned the fact that on producer Gippy Grewal’s request the team of Humble Motion Pictures started the shoot after planting 5 saplings and visiting Gurudwara.
Film Posti will star Surilee Gautam and Babbal Rai in the lead along with Prince Kanwaljit in a significant role. More details awaited.
Bollywood actress, Zareen Khan is all set to mark her comeback in the Punjabi film industry after a long haul of about five years in DAAKA. She will be seen playing the role of Lalli, a young Punjabi girl who falls in love with Shinda, a young boy from her own village that is being played by Gippy Grewal.

Daaka promises to be the first-of-its-kind action thriller in the Punjabi film industry with the perfect blend of drama, romance, and thrill.
“It has always been a great experience working with Gippy Grewal. He is a very humble and talented actor to work with,” shared Khan who marked her debut in the Punjabi film industry with Jatt James Bond about five years ago. Her leading role in this romantic thriller was critically acclaimed and appreciated by the audiences.
Zareen Khan also remembers having eaten ‘Ghee Shakkar’ for the first time in life which was brought to her by Gippy while shooting in Punjab.
Khan has been seen in the Punjabi film industry working only with Grewal, to which she shared, “Gippy not only makes me feel comfortable in my skin but also writes good quality content which motivates me to sign-up for his movies. It was a lot of fun shooting with him and the entire team of Daaka and needless to say, the final product has come to be beautiful. Khan made her screen debut with a leading role in Anil Sharma’s period film Veer (2010) co-starring with Salman Khan for which she was nominated for the Zee Cine Award for Best Female Debut and ever since then, there has been no turning back.
Ahead of just a few days of its release, Khan has left no stone unturned to promote Daaka on her social media portals. “I am super excited about Daaka’s release and I would like to request all my fans to support me like they always do,” she stated in an interview.
