Singer – turned – actor Gippy Grewal kick-started his recent visit to Pakistan by seeking the blessing of almighty at Nankana Sahib
Gippy Grewal has always been a proud Punjabi who is deep-rooted in our rich culture and heritage, and his recent visit to one of the most important sites of the Sikh religion, Nankana Sahib stands testament to the same.
Nankana Sahib is a city and capital of Nankana Sahib District in the Punjab province of Pakistan.
It is named after the first Guru of the Sikhs, Guru Nanak, who was born in the city and first began preaching here.
Upon his arrival in Pakistan, Grewal paid homage at Nankana Sahib and then moved back to Lahore. He even shared a sneak-peak of his visit on his social media portals. Not even this, he also thanked a few people regarding his visit including Imran Khan and Captain Amrinder Singh amongst others.
According to sources, Grewal will also be visiting Gurudwara Panja Sahib during his Pakistan trip. Not only this, his itinerary also includes a tour of Lahore and Islamabad and the place of his forefathers, which they left in 1947.
Talking about Gippy Grewal’s upcoming Punjabi movie, he’s these days promoting his film Ik Sandhu Hunda Si which will release on 28th February 2020.
The film will be directed by Rakesh Mehta and produced by Bally Singh Kakkar along with Gippy Grewal himself. The highlight of Ik Sandhu Hunda Si is action, which is done by Sham Kaushal, famous Bollywood veteran action director.
Ik Sandhu Hunda Si’s pre-teaser and teaser are already out. Now its first song ‘Galib’ can be out any day. Ik Sandhu Hunda Si will also mark the debut Bollywood actress and model Neha Sharma as an actress in Punjabi cinema.
