Winter makeovers that you won’t want to miss in wedding season

In terms of fashion and beauty trends, it is difficult to stay on top of them since they are constantly changing every season. As far as seasonal trends are concerned, they are completely at odds with each other. Renowned makeover expert Richa Agarwal, Cleopatra Salon and makeovers recently presented winter makeover previews along with the launch of a lookbook. She also chose the occasion to share winter makeover trends and tips.

Aside from being stylish, these trends remained extremely modern and trendsetting at the same time. In keeping with the ever-changing parameters of winter fashion and makeovers, along with the traditional sensibilities of the people in Chandigarh, Richa Agarwal and Harvin Kathuria present these looks and trends of the season that are sure to inspire future brides.

Fashion trends for the new season were characterized by blingy looks, bold colours, high-end couture fashion and royal accessories. Additionally, information was shared regarding the correct way to use macules, brushes, and fancy and elaborate accessories as well as the correct way to use them.

Taking this opportunity to speak regarding the fresh looks for winter weddings, Richa Agarwal said, “Wedding and festive season are two seasons that are particularly special for us all, for many reasons, and people like to enjoy grand occasions together, and they love to wear gorgeous outfits and attractive looks, and makeovers, hairstyles, and nail art have played a major role in creating these looks. In contrast to last year’s trends, this year’s looks are making a comeback. This is because traditional looks are making a comeback along with a fusion of a little bit of western styles and trends. When the makeup of the eyes is more attractive than the rest of the face, then it is very important to keep the rest of the face simple and unadorned.

In the past, brides used to wear a lot of hairstyles with flower-based accessories, which were very creative, but this year, brides are leaving their hair open with soft curls as their first look, as well as statement maang tikkas with open hairstyles and chokers as their first look. Similarly, this year, bridal looks will be seen in heavy jewelry, and base nude makeup will be seen this year. As far as eye makeup is concerned, we can expect to see blingy, shimmery, dramatic, and bold looks this fall. Compared to summer weddings, winter weddings have a different look and feel to them. Winter weddings have their own unique atmosphere and fun, and it is without a doubt that they are a destination wedding that has a unique atmosphere for the guests as well as the bride and groom themselves. As Richa Agarwal says, “Winter weddings have their own charm and allure, and the bride and groom wish that they could get married in winter as it is the right time for not only fashion, but also beautiful hairstyles and makeup as well. This day is very special for Bride and Groom, so they want to look the most beautiful on this occasion.

The girls want to have special photogenic makeup done on this speciday. This will ensure so that they will look gorgeous in photographs and have the opportunity to share their pictures with family, friends, and on social media. To cater to their specific preferences, we have also launched a lookbook that showcases the latest trends of winter makeovers, taking into account their preferences. There has been a change in the mood in weddings and celebrations since the end of the pandemic stage, and people today are openly enjoying weddings and celebrations with a different brightness that can be observed.

Charting path of success with hard work and dedication : Neeta Malik, Co Founder, Meatington

The heat and eat range makes it easy for people living independently to have tasty and healthy meals all day. Each meal can include different products, such as chicken sausages for breakfast, Dal Makhani for lunch, Dahi ke kebab for tea, Chicken / Mutton Seekh or Broccoli corn Kebab for a snack, and Chicken Tikka for dinner.

It comes in a Zip Locked reusable pouch where you can store our products for up to twelve months. To name a few chains, we sell in Modern Bazaar, Needs, Sodhi’s, and General Trading stores in North, East, West, and South Delhi, Noida, and Faridabad. Starting with Delhi NCR, we aim to make it available to consumers as far as possible and now our reach has also expanded to Punjab.

Various channels are used to expand our database. Through social media, influencers, Google ads and Facebook ads, we’re using Digital Marketing. Through LinkedIn, we plan to reach out to the industry. To bring brand awareness and showcase our products, we are also holding tasting sessions at corporate offices and in residential societies as well.

Where do you see the brand moving in 5 years from now ?

Meatington will be in every kitchen. Soon we will be expanding to Pan India and exploring the export market. It’s already exciting to get inquiries from all over the world.

Green, healthy, or eco-friendly practices have made frozen or ready-to-eat foods less trusted. Do packaged and ready-to-eat foods lack freshness?

It’s like freezing time. We already talk about it regularly on our social media handles. When the product is brought down to extreme freezing temperatures, we use technology proven in international labs to preserve the nutritional value. If stored at -18 degrees, bacteria growth stops and it retains its taste and nutrition. It tastes fresh and delicious when heated.

How will you overcome the challenges you currently face?

Debunking frozen food myths is our first challenge. We eat almost everything processed. Freezing food is probably the safest method. Our technology gives you a long shelf life without harmful preservatives, and it makes all the difference. Through social media, we are already raising awareness and educating people.

A second challenge is that we are in a hurry – we know we have a great product and we want to deliver it as soon as possible. Our products convert most people on the spot. The real challenge here is reaching untapped markets. Just 5 months old, we are already partnering with distributors and retailers, but we can’t wait to be up and running!

What lessons have you learned on your entrepreneurial journey?

As I was once told – “You learn from your own mistakes, never from anyone else’s.” So take chances and make mistakes. You will be wiser.

What’s your greatest professional achievement? Whom do you credit for your success?

My values and goodwill are my greatest professional achievements. My success is largely due to God who brought me to the right place at the right time, the friends I have made in business and most importantly, the support I have always had from my family and colleagues.

‘The Flowers in Her Room’ – a book by class IX student Nikasha unveiled

Chandigarh, August 31, 2022: ‘The Flowers in Her Room’, a book consisting of five short plays, penned by Nikasha Luthra, a Class IX student of Vivek High School, Chandigarh, was unveiled during a press conference at Hotel Mountview here. Nikasha was accompanied by her father Deepak Luthra and her mother Nisha Luthra who is also Founder of The Narrators which is a performing arts society. Nikasha informed that four of the plays are based on human emotions and their conflicts, while one play is about the French revolution.

The titles of short plays are : ‘The Emptiness Inside the Heart’, ‘Twelve Apples’, ‘When She Opened Her Eyes’, ‘The Silence of Her Lips’, and ‘Louis the Sixteenth’. The final piece is a play that depicts the mood of a young man when he suddenly becomes a king. This anecdote of history makes the book interesting for children. While ‘Louis the Sixteenth’ is in English the rest of the four plays have been written in a mix of Hindi and English writing.

Explaining the difference between story writing and playwriting, Nikasha said that in a play, many characters have to be tied up. Presenting that narrative on stage in a given time frame is a challenge in itself. The play writer goes through an internal struggle to keep the mood of the character in front of the audience. Regarding her next book, Nikasha said that she is working on a novel in the fiction genre and which is a murder mystery.

Nikasha’s age doesn’t hamper her inner writer and she gives a new flight to her emotional thinking through these plays. During the Covid 19 period, when the whole world was spending most of the time at hand on the internet and video calls , Nikasha was busy creating new characters through her pen. She has been associated with theatre since the age of seven. Being an artist herself, she understands the technical nuances of theatre very well and this understanding is clearly visible in her plays too.

When asked where she got the inspiration to write such mature plays at such a young age, Nikasha said that there was no single source of inspiration, but there are many factors that have influenced her writing. Her mother is closely associated with theatre, her father constantly encourages her, and her theater Guru has left a deep impact on her soul and mind.

Nikasha believes that many things have to be kept in mind while writing a play, such as the selection of the characters, the interactions between them, the duration of the play, the setting of the stage, and the conflict of the characters. She advises her peers that they must take out time in the day to read and write, as these are like food for the mind.

Two of her plays – ‘The Emptiness Inside the Heart’ and ‘Twelve Apples’ will be staged at the Mini Auditorium of the Tagore Theatre on September 2, 2022, beside the formal release of her book by Haryana Chief Information Commissioner, Vijay Vardhan who will be the chief guest. Vivek Atray, an ex-IAS officer and motivational speaker, eminent theatre personality Neelam Mansingh Chowdhry, Sinead Gilmartin and Michael Hanrahan from the Embassy of Ireland, New Delhi, and Atul Khosla, Founder and Vice Chancellor at Shoolini University too will be participating as guests’ of honour. This theatrical presentation by The Narrators Performing Arts Society and Chandigarh Literary Society will be directed by Nisha Luthra. In these plays, who’s set design has been done by Sarthak Narula,
