After producing a mega blockbuster like Ardaas Karaan, which has succesfully entered in its third week now, the producer in Gippy Grewal has awakened again. Now, once again under his own label, Humble Motion Pictures, Gippy Grewal will be producing a web-series titled ‘Warning’. 

Directed by Amar Hundal and written by Gippy Grewal, the tagline of the web-series seems to be quite interesting: ‘Vehle haan, koyi banda bunda hi marwa lo’.

So, it’s evident from the first poster itself, that this web-series shall be based on contract-killers. Now whether it will be an intense action drama or a comic take on this subject, that’s something that we’ll have to wait to know about. 

Meanwhile, Gippy Grewal – the actor, is busy these days shooting for his next film with Bollywood actress Neha Sharma. The film is titled ‘Ik Sandhu Hunda Si’. Besides that, the superstar shall also feature in a film titled Daaka which will be releasing on November 1.

Guru Randhawa, who was recently attacked in Vancouver by an unknown person after he had finished his concert, is now back to India. Guru’s management team shared the complete incident on his Social media handle.

The performer was exiting Queen Elizabeth Theatre when he was attacked from behind, as per the reports published in various leading websites.

The management shared a picture of Guru with bandage over his eyebrows, and wrote: “Guru is back in India with four stitches on his right eyebrow and mega successful USA/Canada tour. The incident happened on 28th July in Vancouver when Guru told one punjabi man not to come on stage while he was performing for the audience. That man was trying to come on stage again and again and then he started fighting with everyone backstage. He was known to the local promoter Surinder Sanghera who sent him away during the show.”

Popular Punjabi actor-singer, Rosshan Prince has finally announced the release date of his upcoming film ‘Nanka Mel’. The film starring Rubina Bajwa in the lead will release on November 15.

Film’s lead actor took down to his official Instagram handle to share the first look poster with his fans and followers, and announced the release date of the film.

Punjabi film ‘Chal Mera Putt’ starring Amrinder Gill and Simi Chahal in the lead, has been receiving positive reviews from the Punjabi movie lovers across the globe. Released on July 26, the film has emerged the highest Punjabi opening weekend of 2019 by grossing A$ 313,404. 

Film critic and trade analyst, Taran Adarsh took down to his official social media handle to share the news with movie lovers.

He quoted: “Have said this earlier, now saying it again… #Hindi films no longer dominate/monopolise international markets nowadays… While several ‪#Telugu‬ films have eclipsed the biz of ‪#Hindi‬ films in #USA, #Punjabi, ‪#Telugu‬ and ‪#Tamil‬ films are now drawing bigger numbers in #Australia.

Directed by Janjot Singh, the movie has been written by Rakesh Dhawan. The story of the film revolves around Indian and Pakistani nationals trying hard to make a living in a foreign land. Going by the trailer, the film is very entertaining.

Majority of the fans have praised Amrinder Gill for sharing screen space with Pakistani actors Iftikhar Thakur, Nasir Chinyoti and Akramudas.

 

Currently basking in the glory of Ardaas Karaan‘s massive box-office success, Gippy Grewal has announced the title of his next film as well. Titled ‘Ikk Sandhu Hunda Si’, the film will introduce Hindi film actress Neha Sharma in the Punjabi film industry.

So, normally a heroine in an action film is generally restricted to playing only an eye-candy role, looking gorgeous and providing some refreshing moments in the otherwise intense drama. But upcoming Punjabi movie, Singham seems to be a cut above the rest. In this Punjabi version of Ajay Devgn’s Singham, perhaps, you shall see the female lead, Sonam Bajwa giving some kicks and punches too.      

 

The film stars Parmish Verma and Kartar Cheema in the lead roles. Sonam has shared an action scene rehearsal on his social media handle, and the fans can’t help but wonder, if she is doing action in the film?

In the Punjabi Singham, Parmish Verma is playing the role of a tough cop named Dilsher Singh. Movie lovers are praising Parmish for his performance in the trailer with amazing dialogue delivery and daredevil stunts. Sonam, on the other hand, is playing the role of ‘Nikki’, Dilsher’s love interest.

‘Singham’ is the Punjabi remake of Bollywood film with the same name featuring Ajay Devgn and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead, while Kareena Kapoor played the lead in the second installment of the franchise.
