Ever since the news of Binnu Dhillon and Kulraj Randhawa coming together to play husband-wife in upcoming Punjabi movie – ‘Naukar Vahuti Da’ was revealed, Punjabi audience welcomed it as an awesome first time pairing! But perhaps not many are aware that Binnu Dhillon and Kulraj Randhawa have shared screen together, exactly 10 years ago, in another Punjabi film titled – Tera Mera Ki Rishta.
However, what can be called as a major transformation in Binnu Dhillon’s life is that while Binnu played a “cousin” of Kulraj 10 years ago, now he’s playing her “husband”. Also, while in Tera Mera Ki Rishta, Binnu’s role was a small negative one, in Naukar Vahuti Da, he’s the lead hero!
Will Binnu and Kulraj’s on-screen chemistry as ‘hubby-wifey’ win the hearts of our audience? Now that’s something to be waited and watched for but one thing is for sure that the hilarious trailer is being loved by all. It has already crossed two million views and besides the duo’s bittersweet chemistry, Naukar Vahuti Da is being highly anticipated for the fact that we’ll get to see Binnu Dhillon as an elderly man with gray hair in the movie.
A humorous take on marital issues, Naukar Vahuti Da narrates the tale of Shivinder and Neetu who decide to part ways due to frequent tussles and amidst all this, their adorable daughter, Mannat becomes a victim to unfavourable circumstances. However, with the passage of time, Shivinder realizes their worth and decides to walk the extra mile and become Neetu’s driver so that he can re-unite with her wife & daughter and that’s how the madness unveils.
Directed by Smeep Kang, Naukar Vahuti Da is produced by Rohit Kumar and Sanjeev Kumar under the banner of Rangrezaa films in association with the Omjee Star Studios and Smeep Kang Productions.
The music of the movie is given by Gurmeet Singh and the storyline has been penned by Vaibhav and Sherya.
Naukar Vahuti Da is slated to release worldwide on 23 August, 2019.
