Here’s Why Jind Mahi Is Going to be an Iconic Rom-com!

Directed by Sameer Pannu and produced by Whitehill Studios, a production house which has never failed to impress, Jind Mahi releases this Friday – 5th August and here’s why we think it has everything to emerge as an iconic Rom-Com blockbuster!

Sonam Bajwa and Ajay Sarkaria are all set to share the silver screen again, after the spurring success story of Ardab Mutiyaran in 2019. This time, the duo shall be seen together in a cute love-hate relationship, wherein they are stepping into the shoes of Laado and Harry respectively.

While Laado is seen to be as the happy go lucky girl next door, Harry is seen to be the shy, simple and conserved Punjabi boy who is finding his way to settle in a foreign land.

In addition to the leading duo of Sonam Bajwa (Laddo) and Ajay Sarkaria (Harry), Jind Mahi also features Gurnam Bhullar and Raj Shoker in pivotal roles.

2. Melodious Music Ballads:

From romantic ballads to foot-tapping tracks that will force you to shake a leg, Jind Mahi features some beautiful Punjabi songs, such as Rabba Mainu, Hanju, Baahn Fadke, Shiddat and many more!

Shot in some of the most exotic locations of England, Jind Mahi’s cinematography seems top-notch! Both the songs and the trailer give us a glimpse of the splendid locations where the movie is shot.

Sonam Bajwa and Ajay Sarkaria’s ‘Jind Mahi’ To Be Released On This Day

Originally scheduled for a July 8 release (clashing with Jimmy Sheirgill’s Shareek 2), Sonam Bajwa and Ajay Sarkaria’s ‘Jind Mahi’ has now been postponed.

This Whitehill Studios film will instead release on August 5 this year and mark the directorial debut of Sameer Pannu’s, who has already worked as an assistant director in Whitehill Studios’ other successful films including Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa’s 2019 blockbuster Muklawa.

This is not the first time though that Ajay Sarkaria and Sonam Bajwa will be appearing on the big screen together. The duo has already worked together Whitehil Studios’ Ardab Mutiyaran (2019), which was directed by Manav Shah.

The new release date of Jind Mahi was announced by Sonam Bajwa herself on her official Instagram page.

Shareek 2: Second Song ‘Piche Piche’ Jatt Released, A Fun Romantic Number

Watch the second song of Shareek 2, ‘Piche Piche Jatt’ which was released today allover the online platforms.

Shareek 2 releases on 8th July in cinemas the world over. Depicting the story of rivalry between two cousins, the film is directed by Navaniat Singh and produced by Vivek Ohri, Daljit Thind and Manmord Sidhu and Gunbir Sidhu under the banner of Ohri Products, Whitehill Studios and Thind Motion Pictures.

The film stars Jimmy Sheirgill, Dev Kharoud, Sharan Kaur and Mukul Dev as lead actors besides a gamut of seasoned Punjabi actors.

Whitehill Studios- one of Punjab’s most renowned and prolific production studios collaborated with VR Mall at Mohali last evening to organise a star-studded premiere of their latest romantic film, Lekh.

The movie that stars Tania and Gurnam Bhullar in the lead roles, has already been winning hearts allover the world with its astounding opening. Several theatres all across Punjab have reported a houseful opening of the movie (box-office figures are awaited yet) and it seems that Lekh is all set to become another record-breaking blockbuster – something that Whitehill Studios is famous for.
