Ahaah! It’s time for both Diljit Dosanjh and Babbu Mann’s fans to hug each other as their respective “Gods” have been spotted to share a lighthearted moment together in a flight.

Mostly we’ve seen the rigid fans of both these stars to fight with each other on social media trying to prove who’s the best one out of the two. While we think that both Diljit and Babbu Mann are the masters of melodious voices and huge talent. Both have earned respect in their respective lines of work and it’s high time that the fans stop locking horns with each other and celebrate this moment.

Rang Panjab’s Title Track Touches the Core Of Your Being : Soul-Stirring!

The fun and flamboyant songs in Punjabi music industry are doled out every single day but it’s a rarity to get a chance to listen to a number that truly shakes the core of your being and manages to stir the soul.

Fortunately, upcoming Punjabi film – Rang Panjab’s title track, sung beautifully by Sai Sultan and penned down by Amardeep Singh Gill (which got released today) is one such song that tugs at your heartstrings. Brilliantly composed by Gurmoh, the song can be listened on a repeat mode.

Rang Panjab, directed by Rakesh Mehta and produced by Bhatinde Wale Films, releases on 23rd November. It stars Deep Sidhu (fame, Jora 10 Numbaria) in the lead role. While Kartar Cheema plays the antagonist, newcomer Reena Rai plays his love interest – ‘Simran’ in the film.

Exclusive: Ardaas 2 Shoot To Begin In January

Gippy Grewal’s first directorial venture – Ardaas, released in March 2016, not only fetched him rave critical reviews but a great success commercially as well. Belonging to a genre that was seldom explored in our industry before, Ardaas, written by Rana Ranbir, managed to create a strong mark on not just the box office but also in the hearts of public.

This film made on pertinent social issues concerning the state of Punjab will now have its sequel- Ardaas 2. Ardaas 2’s shoot shall begin in January and will take place in Canada. It’s interesting to see how the story concerning the issues of Punjabis will be dealt in Canada but perhaps the fact that a large population of Punjabis stay in Canada, will justify the filmmakers’ decision.

We speculate that the film shall talk about the plight of Punjabi immigrants in Canada and the hardships that they grow through in leading a dignified life abroad. It’s a dream of most Punjabis to leave their homeland for Canada but whether their ticket of happiness truly lies there or not, is any issue of debate nevertheless.

Marriage Palace: Payal Rajput Set To Steal Your Heart As A Bubbly Girl-Next-Door

After giving a heartwrenching performance in her debut film along with Ninja – Channa Mereya – Payal Rajput stole many a heart with her simple, elegant yet cute performance in Mr and Mrs 420 playing the lady love of Ranjit Bawa. Not only this, Rajput even set the cash registers ringing in Tollywood with her debut flick ‘RX 100’!

Now the Mumbai starlet is all ready to scorch the silver screen with her role as ‘Maani’ in the upcoming Punjabi flick – Marriage Palace. In this film, she plays the love of Sharry Mann in the backdrop of early 90s when love was expressed through music cassettes and communicated via landline phones.

Speaking about her performance, Payal Rajput said in a recent interview, “Marriage Palace was a like a dream-come-true for me. It brings back the memories of all the beautiful romantic films that I gorged on in my childhood. The innocent love of those times is something that touches your heart and I am glad to be a part of this beautifully woven story.”

In Marriage Palace, Payal Rajput gets to play a bubbly girl called Maani who Sharry Mann’s character – Nimma – falls madly in love with. However, the plot of the film is such that Nimma and Manni’s wedding takes place without a hitch but in the confusion of two brides leaving with their respective husbands, Nimma mistakenly takes the wrong bride home. He only discovers this error on his wedding night when he traditionally removes the brides’ veil. Of course, all hell breaks lose and then starts the comedy of errors!

Titanic: Punjabi Film Based On The Life Of An Indian Navy Aspirant

While Punjabi cinema is not new to showcasing the fun, flamboyant side of Punjabis on the silver screen yet the themes of the struggles that the educated youth of the State face when it comes to realizing their dreams, are seldom explored in our industry.

Bringing forth the dilemma and challenges that today’s youth faces in Punjab when it comes to pursuing their passion, Harry Punj & Baljinder Singh (under their label – The Titanic Film Production) are presenting a film titled TITANIC which releases on 21st Of December.

Featuring a great mix of veterans and newcomers, Titanic stars actors like Kamal Khangura, Gurpreet Kaur bhangu, Hobby Dhaliwal, Raj Singh Jhinger, Garv Moudgill , Malkit Rauni , Tarsem Paul, Sunny Gill, Balwinder bullet, , Satwinder Kaur, Satwant Kaur, Simran Sehajpal, Akash Gill etc.

Directed by Ravi Punj, the Titanic has been shot in Chandigarh and different locations of Punjab. While talking to the press, the director said, “Titanic is a story of a young boy life who has a dream of joining the Indian Navy. Unfortunately, his dreams get shattered due to weak economic condition of his family and the unsuppotive system. However, to realize his dream, he puts in every possible effort – from riding Autorikshas to doing many odd jobs. Whether he shall be able to fulfill his dream or not, that’s what Titanic is all about.”

“Shooting for a film like Titanic raised many production challenges. But we left no stone unturned to fulfill the demand of the script and went that extra mile to bring the vision of the director into reality,” the producers added.

Titanic’s music is given by DJ Narender. With some breathtaking cinematography by K. Sunil, the film is all set to leave a mark in Punjabi cinema.

Wait Is Over! Parmish Verma’s SINGHAM Goes On The Floor

Punjabi singer/actor Parmish Verma’s next Punjabi movie – SINGHAM’s shoot commenced yesterday. The film is the OFFICIAL remake of Ajay Devgn’s hugely popular Hindi Film series – Singham.

Ever since Parmish Verma announced this project, the fans were not just in awe but were hugely anxious to know more details about the movie. Finally Parmish took it to the social media and shared the first look of the movie.

Parmish Verma made his debut into Punjabi cinema last year with ‘Rocky Mental’ and with his single performance the singer turn actor was able to fetch a lot of projects, one of which was ‘Singham’.

Melodious Tracks from Upcoming Punjabi Movie Laatu Receive Acclaim

The Ballewood industry is all set to release the Indian-Punjabi period drama film, Laatu on November 16 – TOMORROW – which hails its inspiration from the bleak reality of electricity scarcity in the villages of Punjab. The storyline has been weaved in a comical way with a tinge of romanticism; making it a complete package film for everyone alike.

With just a few days left for the movie to hit the silver screen, Laatu has already set the social media ablaze with its melodious tracks including Saat Pind, Lalaria, the title track of course and Jeth Mahina, whose music is given by Jatinder Shah.

While Jeth Mahina aesthetically highlights the pious relationship between the lead pair Gagan Kokri and Aditi Sharma, Saat Pind adds to the ultimate wedding playlist with Aditi Sharma tapping some amazing giddha moves; leaving the listener in jovial vibes.
