‘Lekh’ first song ‘Udd Gaya’: A feel-good romantic track that will remind you of your school-crush

The first song of the upcoming Punjabi film Lekh that stars Tania and Gurnam Bhullar in the lead — ‘Udd Gaya’ has been released today, and just like the movie’s teaser, it has left the audience wanting for more! A sweet romantic song in the voice of B Praak depicts the first phase of falling in love, and the video featuring the lead duo will surely remind you of your school crush.

With lyrics by none other than Jaani, Udd Gaya tugs right at your heartstrings, and B Praak’s music lends the song a distinctive nostalgic charm.

Talking about the video, Tania looks absolutely stunning in a school-girl uniform while Gurnam Bhullar’s innocent expressions as a teenager in love, are priceless.

As for Lekh’s credits, the movie has been produced by Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmord Sidhu under the banner of White Hill Studios. Written by Qismat series and Shadaa fame, Jagdeep Sidhu, Lekh will mark the directorial debut of Manvir Brar. Besides the lead duo, ‘Lekh’ stars talented Punjabi actors like Kaka Kautki, Nirmal Rishi, Harman Dhaliwal, Harman Brar and others.

Teaser of Punjabi movie Lekh Grabs Massive Attention

Whitehill Studios, Punjab’s one of the most revered film production houses, has just launched the teaser of its upcoming Punjabi movie, Lekh, which is receiving a massive response allover the internet.

Lekh stars Diamond fame singer Gurnam Bhullar along with super-talented Tania,  and is helmed by Manvir Brar.  The story, screenplay, and dialogues written by Jagdeep Sidhu, fame Qismat series and Shada.

Bankrolled by Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmord Sidhu, Lekh’s music is given by B Praak and the lyrics are penned by none other than Jaani.

The release date of Punjabi movie Lekh is 1st April 2022. 

From the first glimpse, Lekh seems to be an innocent love story between two teenagers from a rural school.  It’s a delight to watch both Tania and Gurnam Bhullar sporting completely new looks for their new film together.

For Punjabi cinema that’s still reeling under the repercussions of Covid-19, it will be a great respite if Lekh performs well at the office. From the teaser, a lot of hopes and expectations are sure to rise – let’s see how the film performs at the box-office on the 1st of April 2022.
