Balkaur Singh, the father of the late Punjabi rapper Sidhu Moosewala, recently welcomed a newborn son into the family. Sharing the joyous news on Instagram, Balkaur posted a heartwarming photo with the infant, accompanied by a framed picture of Sidhu in the background. Dressed in a blue shirt and denims, Balkaur cradled the baby in his arms, with a celebratory cake nearby.
In his Punjabi caption, Balkaur expressed gratitude for the love and blessings received from millions of fans who adored Sidhu Moosewala, acknowledging the Almighty for bestowing them with a new addition to the family. He also thanked well-wishers for their overwhelming support.
The newborn was welcomed into the world by Balkaur and his wife, Charan Kaur. Family sources had earlier confirmed that Charan underwent IVF treatment, successfully conceiving a baby, with the pregnancy due in March. Sidhu Moosewala’s uncle, Chamkaur Singh, had verified Charan’s pregnancy in a report to Tribune back in February.
Sidhu Moosewala, a renowned figure in the Punjabi music industry, tragically passed away at the age of 28 on May 29, 2022, in Mansa. He was fatally shot, succumbing to his injuries upon arrival at the Mansa Civil Hospital. His untimely demise came amidst the withdrawal of his security detail, part of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann’s initiative to eradicate VIP culture in the state.
Despite his departure, Sidhu Moosewala’s legacy continues to thrive through his music, while his family celebrates the arrival of a new member, bringing hope and joy for the future.
