Aditya Sood, the man of the moment in Punjabi cinema right now, who’s taken the entire industry by storm with his most honest interview detailing everything that happened with him during the last 6 years (after the release of his debut movie – Oye Hoye Pyar Ho Gaya with Sharry Mann) is once again in news. 

While the director and produced Aditya Sood is making a comeback with a film called ‘Teri Meri Jodi’ which will see the debut of several Indian actors including the singer – Sidhu Moose Wala, he is also introducing a foregin girl named Jazz who’s come straight from London to work as an actress in Punjabi cinema. 

We spoke to Jazz while she was shooting here in Punjab’s Thunder Zone amusement park along with her other co-stars like King B Chouhan, Sammy Gill, Monica Sharma, Yograj Singh, Rana Jung Bahadar, Victor Yograj Singh and so on.

The latest Punjabi track ‘Dogar’ starring Sidhu Moosewala creates buzz for its prolific effects and melodious symphony. 

Reckoned to be the most expensive that the Punjabi entertainment industry has ever seen, Teri Meri Jodi’s latest music track ‘Dogar’ is high on VFX effects and opulence, which has caught attention by Punjabi music lovers from across the globe. 

Writer and director, Aditya Sood who is all set to make his comeback after six years with Teri Meri Jodi, recently shared his awe and inspiration from the super VFX effects of Bahubali which led him to invest massively in the audio and video production of this music track.

With an approximate budget of one crore, the video of the track speaks volumes about the featuring of over 400 horses, an action master and enhanced VFX which is now seen  to be the talk of the town.

“I am way mature and surer of cinema and viewers’ expectations this time around,” shared Sood with a satisfied smile on his face.

Written and sung by  Sidhu Moose Wala, the music of this song is given by Snappy and yh movie, Teri Meri Jodi is releasing worldwide on 26th July.

Floods have wrecked havoc in more than 500 villages of Punjab this season resulting in the loss of several lives and making many a homeless. Besides the government and many social organisations, several stars from the Punjabi entertainment industry have come forward to help the victims both financially and at the ground level. 

According to a report in Dainik Savera, some members of Diljit Dosanjh’s founded Saanjh Foundation came out to help the flood victims in Punjab’s Sultanpur Lodhi. In the video, one can see them actively supporting the families who have suffered heavily due to floods.

Other than Diljit Dosanjh, other Punjabi artistes who have came out openly to support flood victims are Gippy Grewal, who donated a sum of Rs 10 lakh to Khalsa Aid, Tarem Jassar and Himanshi Khurana, who personally went to carry out rescue operations and distribute food and medical supplies, Gurpreet Ghuggi, R Nait and many more.

It has come as a great shock that Pakistanis have dared announcing a movie on our hero – IAF pilot, Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman who’s known for his extraordinary bravery and courage during recent escalation between India and Pakistan (February 2019).

According to a Pakistani website, after Vivek Oberoi announced in India that he is set to make a film on Balakot strikes, playing Abhinandan himself, the Pakistani veteran writer Khalil ur Rehman Qamar has announced that he will be making a movie on Abhinandan too, but it’ll be a comedy movie titled, ‘Abhinandan, Come on!’

Shamoon Abassi, the actor who’ll be playing the role of Abhinandan in this film has confirmed the same to the same website. 

The film’s shoot will begin in September and will release on 27th September in Pakistan, the same day when Abhinandan was captured in Pakistan.

 Ranu Mandal, a viral internet singing sensation was spotted at a railway station singing the famous ‘Ik pyar ka nagma hai’ originally sung by Lata Mangeshkar.

After that she appeared in a reality show where Himesh Reshammiya found her really talented and offered a song in his upcoming Hindi movie – Happy, Hardy, Veer.

Yesterday Khalsa Aid had announced that Gippy Grewal personally called their team members to donate an amount of Rs 7 lakh to Punjab flood victims, now according to Khalsa Aid, an additional sum of Rs 3 lakh has also been donated by the Ardaas Karaan, director and producer. 

Confirming the same, Amarpreet Singh of Khalsa Aid said, “Gippy ji told us that though he ‘physically’ wanted to help the Khalsa Aid members who are selflessly helping the flood victims and their families at ground zero, but due to some prior commitments, the actor had to leave for abroad. Still, he didn’t leave any stone unturned to help his fellow Punjabis, so he has now donated a total of Rs 10 lakh for the rescue operations, distribution of relief material and rehabilitating the Punjab flood victims.”

Among those personalities from entertainment industry who have reached ground zero to help the victims and Khalsa Aid workers is Himanshi Khurana, who have tremendously helped the affected families by distributing medicines, sanitary napkins for women, food aid and much more. 

Singer and actor Tarsem Jassar also reached the affected areas and helped carrying out rescue operations as well as distributing medical aid and food material.

Gurpreet Ghuggi also met the affected families in the flood-hit areas. 

Meanwhile, celebrities like Neeru Bajwa, Sonam Bajwa, Kavita Kaushik, Ammy Virk among others have took down to their social media handles to share the helpline numbers to gather maximum help.

Punjab is witnessing its worst flood in three decades. More than hundreds have gone missing in 500 villages in these floods. The rains have led havoc in Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Ferozpur and Rupnagar area of Punjab.
