Rhythm Boyz Entertainment is one production house in our industry that’s known for not just providing meaningful family entertainment, but also serving us with the most unique concepts that appeal to almost all kinds of audiences worldwide.   

While this year they gave us first-ever movie on the contentious subject like Demonetization (Golak, Bugni, Bank Te Batua), and then a blockbuster like ASHKE (a film on Bhangra), in the past they’ve doled out amazing movies like Angrej (the movie that started the trend of Period cinema in Punjab), Love Punjab, Lahoriye (who would’ve thought about a film on India-Pakistan love story without raking any kind of controversy?), Bambukat (a Punjabi film dealing with mechanical inventions and becoming superhit overnight), Vekh Baraatan Challiyan (Binnu Dhillon’s first-ever film as a “lead” hero thus giving a new life to his career) and so many more.

Now the same production house in association with Hayre Omjee Studios, is coming up with another “first”. Yes, the first Punjabi film dedicated to ‘Bachelors’ and the struggle they have to face in leading with people on every day basis – depicted on screen in the most humorous way. The film titled ‘Bhajjo Veero Ve’ and starring Amberdeep Singh and Simi Chahal in the lead is hitting the big screen on 14th December. Its trailer is already out and has amused us enough to take us to the cinema halls. Have you checked it as yet?

Written and directed by Amberdeep himself, the film will showcase the fresh pairing of Amberdeep and Simi Chahal on screen. The project has been bankrolled by Karaj Gill and Talwinder Hayre. Along with Amberdeep Singh and Simi Chahal, the movies stellar cast includes Guggu Gill, Nirmal Rishi, Hobby Dhaliwal, Yaad Grewal, Hardeep Gill, Balwinder Bullet, Sukhwinder Raj.

Famous standup comedian and Punjabi film producer Kapil Sharma is all set to marry his long-time girlfriend Ginni Chatrath on December 12. As the wedding date gets close, Kapil Sharma is visiting his near and dear ones to invite them to his wedding. Recently, he visited Punjabi singer-actor Roshan Prince and his family. 

Along with Vikram Grover and Rajiv Thakur, he went to his old time buddy Roshan Prince’s house and even met his parents there. Roshan Prince couldn’t obviously contain his emotions at this warm gesture by Kapil and took it to his social media to thank him by posting 8 pictures.

On the work front, Roshan Prince has kick started the shoot of ‘Laddu Barfi’. It is the second production venture of director Simerjit Singh. Directed by Avtar Singh, the movie features Ronica Gandhi as the female lead. The film is scheduled to hit the box office in 2019.

Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh’s upcoming Bollywood film GOOD NEWS’ shoot has commenced today. In this film he shall be seen starring opposite Kiara Advani. Film’s other star cast Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan woulb be joining them later.

Kiara tweeted a video of herself along with Diljit holding the film’s clapboard. She captioned it as: “Have you heard the news today? Chill… It’s all ‘Good News’! Raj Mehta, Diljit Dosanjh and I are Missing you Akshay Kumar sir, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karan Johar (and) Shashank Khaitan see you all soon!”

Diljit too shared the same video and wrote: “It’s a Dream Come True When you get to Work with Your Favourite Productions House and an Awesome TEAM.”

We have no update yet as to when this film shall get released. Diljit Dosanjh shall also be seen in a Punjabi film next year titled ‘Shadaa’ along with Neeru Bajwa.

The multi-talented Ballewood artiste has yet again made a Huge announcement today! While we already know that he’s coming up Manje Bistre 2 (releasing on 12th April 2019) the  #Desirockstar has now signed another film which shall be releasing on 12th July 2019.   

While the title of the film is kept under the wraps as of now, we believe this could be one of those films that Humble Motion Pictures and T-Series are producing together. Or could it be Chandigarh-Amritsar-Chandigarh with Sargun Mehta?

In Manje Bistre 2, Gippy Grewal shall be seen together with Simi Chahal for the first time. The teaser of the film was released recently which showed that the wedding in Manje Bistre 2 shall take place in Canada this time.  

As for Ardaas 2’s front, the shoot will take place in Canada and Punjab from January onwards. Gippy Grewal has also openly invited young artistes for auditions to cast them in various roles that the film has to offer.

Karamjit Anmol announced his turning a producer for a film titled ‘Mindo Taseeldarni’ in September. Now the release date and more information about the movie are out. 

Kavita Kaushik was specially delighted to share the poster as her (being the heroine of the film) name was put first in the starcast.

“This is special to me , not just because it’s the title role , not just because the story is a perfect family entertainer with comedy and the right emotions, But because the makers put the heroine’s name first in the starcast credits.  (sic)” – Kavita Kaushik.

Slated to hit the box office on 28 June 2019, ‘Mindo Taseeldarni’ will be featuring Kavita Kaushik and Rajvir Jawanda as the lead starcast. Karamjit Anmol will also essay a significant role in the film. Along with Karamjit Anmol, the film is bankrolled by Ranjiv Singla.

Sidhu Moose Wala, the current sensation in the world of Punjabi music has decided to experiment with something new in his life – acting! Weren’t we all waiting for this development to take place soon?

Sidhu Moose Wala is turning an actor with a film titled ‘Yes I Am A Student’, which shall be directed by Daana Paani and Rabb Da Radio fame, Tarnvir Singh Jagpal. Moose Wala will be essaying the lead role in the film.

Sidhu Moose Wala also thanked the Almighty while sharing this news of his maiden Punjabi film which is being produced by Jatt Life Films and written by Gill Raunta. Taking into consideration the past films of the director Tarnvir Singh Jagpal, we believe Yes I Am A Student shall also be a content-rich film.  

Yes I Am A Student is slated for an early 2019 release.

If there’s one man in Ballewood whose hands are always full with work, then there has to be Gippy Grewal. Be it acting, directing, writing or producing films, he certainly knows his craft well and how to make it succesful too! 

Now in a major collaboration with T-Series, Gippy’s Humble Motion Pictures will be producig two more Punjabi films. While the two untitled films’ female cast is yet to be locked in, both the films will star Gippy in the lead role.

The first film is slated to go on the floor on February, 2019 and will be directed by Baljit Singh Deo. The second film, to be directed by Smeep Kang will begin shooting from April 20, 2019.

Commenting on the development Bhushan Kumar, chairman and managing director of T-Series says, “We have had a great relationship with Gippy for many years, having worked him on many songs. We look forward to collaborating with him on the two Punjabi films. I am sure it’s going to be a great ride.”

Gippy Grewal adds, “We’ve made films such as Manje Bistre, directed by Baljit Singh Deo and Carry On Jatta, directed by Smeep Kanga in the past. Our production house is no. 1 in Punjab. We are collaborating with the both directors once again and are hopeful that these two films will also become big hits in Punjab. With our new partnership with T-Series, we will be able to release these two films now on a big scale. I would like to thank Bhushanji who made this possible.”

Meanwhile it is Bhushan Kumar’s birthday today. Gippy wished him in the morning on Twitter as well! We wish them both a super-successful partnership ahead!
