The much-awaited Punjabi romantic comedy movie, Muklawa is seen to be the talk of the town with its foot-tapping music and hilarious dialogue promos. With singer-turned-actor Ammy Virk and Sonal Bajwa in the lead roles, Muklawa narrates a beautiful tale of the bygone era when a husband and wife struggle for meeting each other. The adorable duo has already won the hearts of the audiences with the official trailer which celebrates the innocence of pure love.

“Since the movie is set against the backdrop of pre-partitioned Punjab, it was a very unique experience for me to shoot for the movie. It is a first-of-its-kind romantic comedy movie and I am hopeful that the audiences will love it,” says Ammy Virk who plays the role of ‘Shinda’, the husband. 

Sonam, who plays ‘Taro’ in Muklawa says, “I really enjoyed shooting for the different wedding customs which were followed earlier. Ammy and other actors were really supportive and it turned to be a really memorable experience.”

The movie also stars Gurpreet Ghuggi, B.N. Sharma, Karamjit Anmol, Sarabjit Cheema, Drishtii Grewal, and Nirmal Rishi in prominent roles. Produced by Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmord Sidhu under the banner of White Hill Studios, Muklawa is directed by Simerjit Singh and the storyline is helmed by Upinder Waraich and Jagjit Saini. The movie is slated to release worldwide on May 24th, 2019.

[h4]The Lancer guy Jassie Gill’s popularity is on a rise these days. Now, according to sources, West Indian cricketer Dwayne Bravo who plays for Chennai Super Kings in Indian Premier League, is collaborating with Punjabi singer Jassie Gill for a new Punjabi track.[/h4]

Reportedly, the duo has already recorded some portion of the song already. The news was shared by Jassie Gill himself on his Instagram. In the video, Jassie and cricketer Dwayne Bravo could be seen recording something in the recording studio.

After the flourishing success of movies like Carry on Jatta 2, Sardaar Ji, Punjab 1984 et al, the duo of Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmord Sidhu, Founders of White Hill Studios are back with a bang with their latest Punjabi romantic comedy period film, Muklawa which stars Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa in lead roles. 

The movie also stars BN Sharma, Karamjit Anmol, Gurpreet Ghuggi, and Karamjit Anmol.

“Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa are definitely the best fit for the respective roles. Their proficient acting skills and charm have made the movie come out to be even more aesthetic,” shares Manmord Sidhu.

The upcoming Punjabi movie, Muklawa has already won the hearts of Punjabi audiences through it’s foot tapping music. After receiving critical acclaim for it’s songs like Kala Suit and Gulabi Paani, the makers of the movie have released another song, “Jutti” which is sung by the owner of soulful voice, Ammy Virk and Mannat Noor. 

The lyrics of this track and written by Raju Verma and the music has been prepared by Gurmeet Singh. The track depicts a beautiful chemistry between the lead actors of Muklawa, Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa.
