Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa starrer upcoming Punjabi romantic comedy period film, Muklawa has created a ripple effect on social media with its foot tapping music which is being critically acclaimed and loved by Punjabis across the globe. Produced under the banner of White Hill Studios by Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmord Sidhu, Muklawa is directed by Simerjit Singh and the screenplay is written by Upinder Waraich and Jagjit Saini.
The title track of the movie by Happy Raikoti & Harpi Gill attained trending status on YouTube within just two days of its release. Other tracks of the movie include Kala Suit, Gulabi Paani, Jutti, Boliyaan, Rabb Jaane, Dawayi, and Ehnu Muklawa Aakhde.
“We are really happy to receive such an overwhelming response by the audiences on the music tracks of Muklawa,” shared Gunbir Singh Sidhu. “The music tracks are just a glimpse of the amazing storyline that awaits to be explored on 24th May with the much-awaited release of Muklawa,” Manmord Sidhu added.
Released by the record label of White Hill Music, the background score of the film is composed by Gurmeet Singh and Sandeep Saxena, whereas the soundtrack is composed by Cheetah and Gurmeet Singh. The lyrics are penned by Happy Raikoti, Vinder Nathumanjara, Harmanjeet and Veet Baljit.
Slated to release worldwide on 24th May, the movie is based on the after the wedding custom when a newly-wed bride is taken back to her husband’s home for the first time. Muklawa also stars Gurpreet Ghuggi, B.N. Sharma, Karamjit Anmol, Sarabjit Cheema, Drishtii Grewal, and Nirmal Rishi in prominent roles.
