Jaswinder Bhalla:
The much sought-after veteran actor of the Punjabi film industry, Jaswinder Bhalla has been an indispensable member of the Punjabi entertainment industry. Bhalla took the professional plunge as a comedian in 1988 with Chankata 88 and later became an actor with the film Dulla Bhatti.
He also performs in various stage acts and has done tours of Canada and Australia for his stage show Naughty Baba in Town. Some of his famous movies include Jihne Mera Dil Luteya, Chakk De Fatte, Mel Karade Rabba, Jatt and Juliet, and Carry on Jatta to name a few.
Not only this, Bhalla is also an academic staff at the Punjab Agricultural University.
Binnu Dhillon:
One of the most-loved actors of the Punjabi film industry, Binnu Dhillon hails his roots from Dhuri, Sangrur. Dhillon began his career as a Bhangra performer and had an opportunity to perform at the Indian Festivals in Germany and at the United Kingdom, before he made his debut in the television industry with the serial Paddu, written and directed by Gurbir Singh Grewal in 1998. He went on to work in popular television serials such as Sarhad, Lori, Gaoundi Dharti, Sirnaave, Man Jeetey Jag Jeet, Channo Chan Vargi, Professor Money Plant, Jugnu Hazir Hai, Jugnu Mast Mast, Padam Paria, Kankaal, Aaste and Pagdandian.
With the passage of time, Dhillon ventured into the Punjabi film industry and ever since then, there has been no turning back. He has an array of blockbuster movies to his credit such as Carry on Jatta, Vekh Barattan Challiyan, Mar Gaye Oye Loko, and Naukar Vahuti da to name a few.
Gurpreet Ghuggi:
An Indian actor, comedian, and politician, Gurpreet Ghuggi dons various hats. However, he started his professional journey with theater and eventually, the good old television industry. Ghuggi began his career by acting in theatre in the early 1990s, after which he had recurring roles in television series such as Ronak Mela and the soap opera Parchhaven.
Ghuggi gained international public recognition with comedic leading roles through his videos Ghuggi Junction (2003) and Ghuggi Shoo Mantar (2004), before laying the foundation stone of his film career by starring as Patwari Jhilmil Singh in Asa Nu Maan Watna Da (2004). BN Sharma:
An actor to reckon with prolific dialogue delivery skills and a note-worthy acting acumen, BN Sharma started his professional journey with a Punjabi soap, Jeb Katre on Jalandhar Doordarshan and comedy serial, Flop Show which fetched him many offers for venturing into the Punjabi film industry. Sharma has played a pivotal role in famous Punjabi movies like Mahaul Theek Hai, Jatt and Juliet and Carry On Jatta.
