In a much-anticipated press conference for their upcoming Punjabi movie, “Gaddi Jaandi Ae Chalaangaan Maardi,” Binnu Dhillon couldn’t hold back his admiration and praise for his co-star, Ammy Virk. This reunion marks their return to the silver screen together after seven years, with their last collaboration being the 2016 superhit movie “Bambukat.”

When asked by Iampunjaabi.com about his perspective on Ammy Virk’s journey as an actor over the past seven years, Binnu Dhillon profusely lauded his co-star. He commended Ammy’s unwavering dedication and hard work, noting that he had seamlessly transitioned across various film genres, showcasing his acting prowess not only in the Punjabi film industry but also in Bollywood, notably in the superhit film ’83.

Binnu Dhillon further highlighted Ammy Virk’s remarkable commitment by recalling his impressive body transformation for the movie “Harjeeta,” which not only won critical acclaim but also earned a national award. Binnu expressed his pride in witnessing Ammy’s substantial growth as an actor.

Interestingly, Binnu Dhillon shared a special connection with Ammy Virk as they once shared the screen in Ammy’s debut movie “Angrej.” In this film, Ammy portrayed the antagonist, while Amrinder Gill played the hero. “Angrej” is remembered as a groundbreaking movie that laid the foundation for the era of period films in Punjab.
