Ace makeover expert Purnima Goyal while curating these looks informed, ” Fashion keeps changing and keeps evolving with time and taste preferences of women for a particular look change accordingly. Keeping in mind the change in the fashion we have curated looks for modern age women who want to try a makeover that is traditional yet contemporary. Hence, we have experimented with looks while keeping the essence of tradition and occasion intact. For shade palette lot of red, maroon and magenta will be in trend. It is being preferred by women and mineral makeup remains a hot favorite for them because of its finesse. Unlike last year gold shade is not being preferred and focus is more on pastel shades for eye makeup. We have done a lot many contemporary hair buns that have become global fashion. They have added a hint of Indianness with accessorizing hairstyles with flower power.
We have played with flowers mogra and Gulab for hair designs and in place of blingy makeup. We have gone subtle and given karwachauth transformation to women this time. The celebration also included skin care counseling session along with diet and lifestyle modification counseling.

LAATU : Electrifying Trailer Of Punjab’s First “Electricity-Themed” Movie
The much-awaited trailer of singer-turned-actor Gagan Kokri’s debut Punjabi movie LAATU is out and as expected, it is fun and ‘electrifying’!
The much-awaited trailer of singer-turned-actor Gagan Kokri’s debut Punjabi movie LAATU is out and as expected, it is fun and ‘electrifying’!
Based on a unique theme of how during the 1960s, people in Punjab’s villages regarded having or not having “electricity” as a measure of someone’s social status, and how even matrimonial alliances were based on this famous Benjamin Franklin’s invention, LAATU shall release on 16th November 2018.
Produced by FARID Entertainment and New Era Movies, Laatu is directed by Manav Shah and besides Gagan Kokri it stars actors like Aditi Sharma (playing the female lead), Karamjit Anmol and Sardaar Sohi.
Official trailer of LAATU:
REVIEW OF LAATU TRAILER: Earlier it was assumed that the person who has a bigger mustache is the one who’s capable enough to be someone’s groom – rather “son-in-law”. However, in the trailer, we’re shown that how this tradition is rendered meaningless by a village folk who demands a groom with a “Laatu” in his house. Shaken by this humiliation, Gagan Kokri’s character does his level best to get electricity in his own village. To help him is his friend Karamjit Anmol, who expectedly, adds enough doses of laughter in the trailer.
The best part about the trailer is that it has managed not to reveal the entire story of the film. Leaving the viewer with a certain degree of suspense, the trailer of Laatu is balanced well – showing both the entertaining and intense side of the film alongside. Aditi Sharma looks lovely in rustic Punjabi look while Gagan Kokri looks apt in a Punjabi villager’s look. The rest of the cast, especially Rahul Jungral (the man playing the role of a corrupt electricity officer) is first-rate while Sardar Sohi and other veterans are their usual best.
Looking at the trailer, LAATU certainly has all the elements to fetch a viewer to the cinema hall. We have to wait and see now how well it turns out in reality.
Official LAATU Movie Synopsis:
It is a satirical take on a battle against government & its employees who are unwilling to work for the betterment & welfare of society. From the panchayat to the employees in electricity department are all reluctant to work for the revolution in the village by sticking to the superstitions of the villagers…
“Laatu” stars Gagan Kokri, Aditi Sharma, Karamjit Anmol, Anita Devgan, Sardar Sohi, Ashish Duggal, Hardip Gill, Harby Sangha, Rahul Jungral, Nisha Bano, Prince Kanwaljit Singh, Parkash Gadhu, Malkit Rauni. Music given by Jatinder Shah A movie presentation by Farid Entertainment & New Era Movies, produced by Jagmeet Singh and directed by Manav Shah.
