This Punjabi Director is Behind Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor’s Street Dancer 3D

 Street Dancer 3D’s trailer is just out and the entire internet is abuzz with the stylish look and feel of it! Besides the swashbuckling lead star-cast which comprises Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan, the trailer is being especially loved for its cinematography.

But do you know who is the Direction of Photography of Street Dancer 3D? Punjab’s very own National-Award-winning Director, Vijay Kumar Arora who has given iconic films to both Punjabi and Hindi film industry as a director and DOP.

While he bagged the national award for Harjeeta last year, Vijay Kumar Arora has donned the DOP’s hat quite a number of times for Hindi Cinema. ABCD, Action Jackson, Flying Jatt and many more, Arora is known for his phenomenal work as a Director of Photography.

Vijay Kumar AroraIn Punjabi cinema, besides the iconic film Harjeeta, Arora has also given a blockbuster hit in the form of Guddiyan Patole that starred Sonam Bajwa, Tania and Gurnam Bhullar in the lead. 

Guddiyan Patole was a unique film which got extremely appreciated due to the powerful female characters of the movie. Besides Sonam Bajwa and Tania, veteran actress Nirmal Rishi also played a memorable role in the movie. 

On the other hand, Harjeeta was based on the real-life story of an Indian hockey player – Harjit Singh. This role was played by Ammy Virk, who had undergone physical transformation to fit into the character’s demand. 

Vijay Kumar Arora had also directed a critically-acclaimed movie RSVP in 2013 which starred Harish Verma and Neeru Bajwa as a lead pair. The film was a comedy with a powerful story backing it up.
