Parmish Verma: Punjabi singer, actor and video director, Parmish Verma had a penchant for singing and theater ever since childhood and as he grew up, he realized that it was actually his inner-calling. Hailing his roots from Patiala, Verma enrolled himself in a Hotel Management course only to realize that it was not something that he wanted to do. He later moved to Sydney and started everything from scratch – from doing all kinds of jobs to honing his expertise in singing and acting, he followed his passion and moved back to India to take the plunge. Ever since then, there has been no turning back!
Bohemia: The torchbearer of Punjabi pop music, Bohemia is renowned globally for his unique music style and expertise. However, behind all the name and fame is the story of a hardworking school dropout who started his musical journey by doing gigs in the United States of America and Canada.
Badshah: One of the highest paid celebrities in India, Badshah has appeared in the Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Renowned for his foot-tapping music tracks like Kar Gayi Chull, DJ Waley Babu and Saturday Saturday, Badshah had enrolled as a math student at the prestigious Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi before moving to becoming a Civil Engineering student at Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh. It was during these days that Badshah was exposed to the new Punjabi music which promoted him to take on “rap” writing.
Neeru Bajwa: The Canadian-born Indian actress, director and producer Neeru Bajwa has carved a niche in the Punjabi film industry with her proficient acting skills and talent. However, it was only after years of hard work and perseverance that she could reach the zenith of success. Bajwa left her schooling midway to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. She then came to India to make her dream true and as destiny would have it – her dreams soon turned into a reality!
