Muklawa, a film starring the famous Nikka-Zaildar jodi Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa together, is in the news right from the go. From its gripping trailer, the engimatic posters and obviously the contests that are keeping the Punjabi film followers hooked like anything, Muklawa’s release is anxiously awaited.
Today the makers, Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmord Sidhu from White Hill Studios released one of its happy romantic number called ‘Kala Suit’ in which both Ammy and Sonam are seemingly enjoying their company together. The song sees the duo exchanging cute loving looks with Sonam looking absolutely ethereal in traditional Punjabi outfits.
‘Kala Suit’ is sung by Ammy Virk & Mannat Noor. While music is by Gurmeet Singh, the lyrics have been penned down Harmanjeet.
Directed by Simerjeet Singh (fame, Angrej) Muklawa is a story of those times in Punjab when the husbands were not allowed to meet their own wives for years due to stringent traditions. It was only until a ceremony called Muklawa that the wedded couple was allowed to meet eachother.
