Mehar Mittal, the indespensable personality of Punjabi cinema, who ruled our industry for more than three decades spent the last days of his life in a spiritual retreat centre – Brahmakumaris, Mount Abu. During an interview here, he spoke about this unknown facet of his personality that may give a lot of inspiration to people who want to rise high in life despite their shortcomings.
During this interview, he openly admitted that he was always a coward kid. He also said that he was a spiritual person since a very young age. Though he was invited to a number of parties, but personally, he liked to remain alone, seeking the company of none but the Divine. Mittal ji was a tee-totaller and lived a very simple and spiritual life.
