Not just because it stars our beloved Diljit Dosanjh but also because it touches a subject which is extremely sensitive to us Punjabis and we were waiting for a movie on this issue to be made soon! Now the reality is here. Abhishek Chaubey (Dedh Ishquia fame) brings us UDTA PUNJAB starring Diljit Dosanjh, Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles.
The best part to be seen is the way Diljit seems to have done justice to this character. The same police uniform that he was adorning in Jatt and Juliet 2, yet not even an iota of ‘Fateh Singh’ to be seen in Sartaaj Singh, the character he plays in Udta Punjab. What a powerhouse of talent he is! You rock Diljit!
