The leading actress of Punjabi cinema, Sonam Bajwa will be seen acting parallel to a new entrant in our industry, Ajay Sarkaria in the upcoming Punjabi movie, Ardab Mutiyaran which is all set to release this Friday – 18th October.
The highlight of the movie is Sonam’s avatar as the tomboyish and fierce young lady, ‘Babbu Bains’ who will be seen sharing an adorable yet subtle love story with Ajay Sarkaria, who plays the role of ‘Rinku Bansal’, the youngest brother and owner of ‘Bansal sweets’ in the movie.

“I am really happy to have had the opportunity to act parallel to Sonam Bajwa in my debut Punjabi movie. She had been really supportive for all this while which motivated me to put my best foot forward,” shared Sarkaria on being asked as to how was it to act against the established actress like Sonam Bajwa.
Sarkaria is a trained actor from the much-coveted Lee Starsberg Theatre and Film institute (New York). He has worked in an array of television shows and series before taking the plunge in the Punjabi film industry.

Ardab Mutiyaran is produced by Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmord Sidhu from White Hill Studios and directed by Manav Shah.
The movie also stars BN Sharma, Upasana Singh, Navneet Nishan, Inderpal Singh, and Sudesh Lehri in pivotal roles.
Talking about her role, Sonam said, “While the role that I’m playing is very different from who I am in real life, the characteristic of being dominant and bossy is something that I truly relate to. I really enjoyed being a part of Ardab Mutiyaran and I am hopeful that it will be appreciated by the audience.”
