This first film of Amberdeep’s Production House,Lahoriye’s trailer is out and the main highlight of this film is definitely the fact that it is both directed and written by Amberdeep himself!
The film, seemingly, depicts a story of the refugees who came from Lahore to Indian Punjab; about how an Indian Punjabi boy falls in love with a girl across the border.
The trailer is a feast to the eyes with Amberdeep beautifully painting the picture of both the countries, their cultures, style of thinking and the similar problems faced by people in Lahore as well as Ferozepur in Indian Punjab. Add to it the amazing hit-jodi of Amrinder & Sargun, and of course some wonderful cinematography and music by Jatinder Shah, and we’re ready for a superb entertainer ahead (as promised by the amazing trailer!).
The trailer of Lahoriye speaks of the fact that, the movie revolves around the rich culture and heritage of Punjab, which stood on the crossroads at the time of partition. Amidst all that, a young couple falls in love with each other. However, the way it has been since time immemorial, the society denies from accepting this pious relationship of love across the borders.
Lahoriye brings forth the indispensable memories of the partition of Lahore, which are still alive in the hearts of Punjabis at both the sides. The movie stars Amrinder Gill, Sargun Mehta, Yuvraj Hans, Nimrat Khaira, Sardar Sohi and Guggu Gill. The music is given by Jatinder Shah. The film is going to be released on May 12, 2017.
