What’s the most interesting part is that while Manje Bistre was distributed by the renowned Whitehill Studios, Carry On Jatta 2 was produced as well as distributed by Whitehill Studios. Yes, Whitehill Productions owned by Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmord Sidhu – men behind blockbusters like Jatt and Juliet series, Punjab 1984 and Sardaarji series. They were also behind giving Punjabi film industry its first ‘whodunnit’ – Saab Bahadar.
Talking about Carry On Jatta 2, the film collected Rs. 3.60 Crores (Gross) All India which is by far the highest collection and is far better than most of the Hindi films which were released on double the screens and shows and enjoyed a county-wide release.
Another interesting fact worth noticing is that the Top 3 out of 4 Openings are all produced and distributed by White Hill Studios.
