He has successfully played the role of an action hero in our Ballewood. But now we feel that superstar Gippy Grewal must take a step further and try to become the first Super-Hero of Punjabi cinema. Here are the five reasons we think he fits the bill:
1. Hard-Edged
Gippy has already played hard-edged characters in spectacular films like, Singh vs. Kaur, Jatt James Bond and most recently, Faraar. He has shown his mettle as a hero who can not just successfully dance, sing and romance but also protect anyone by teaching the perpetrators a lesson, in true ‘Anna Rascala Mind it’ style!
2. Looks
He’s athletically built, charismatic and handsome. With features chiseled in stone, Gippy has worked hard a lot of late to attain a well-built body that was eminent in ‘Faraar’.
3. Loads of Attitude
Gippy has been able to pull off oodles of attitude in all his action films. Just the way his character walks, talks, glances and articulate, is enough to give a piece of mind to his opponents. Lest they should fail, his fists are ready to tear them apart.
4. Take my breath away
Just like all superheroes of Hollywood, Gippy’s character always knows how to steal a woman’s heart and make her go crazy for you even if she’s engaged to someone else. Ref. Singh vs Kaur (Something which only a superhero can do with that ease!)
5. Die-Hard
Not many perhaps know, but Gippy has also dubbed for a character in famous Hollywood action film, Die-Hard 5 (A Good Day to Die Hard). In an interview once to Ballewood, he also said that he has a lot of interest in working in action/thriller films. And now we also feel that Gippy should step up his game by being the first superhero character of Ballewood.
