One of the most-loved comedy actors of the Punjabi film industry, Karamjit Anmol dons many hats including that of singer, actor and now, a producer. In a career trajectory spanning across about two decades, Karamjit is never seen romancing on the screen but with his latest production, Mindo Taseeldarni, he is all set to make history by taking a plunge with the romantic genre.

Ever since the very onset, the Director and Writer of the movie, Avtar Singh found Karamjit Anmol to be the best fit for the role. “Earlier, I took the project to some other production house, who said they would like some other actor to play Teja (Karamjit’s role), I told them it has to be done by Karamjit, because the script is not about the actor but the character, and this Karamjit is the perfect fit for this one.”, said Avtar Singh.

“Avtar was very confident that I am the perfect fit for the respective character; so it was his vision,” shared Karamjit who will be seen acting parallel to ‘Vekh Barataan Challiyaan’ and ‘Vadhaiyaan Ji Vadhaiyaan’ actress, Kavita Kaushik.
Produced by Karamjit Anmol and Rajiv Singla, the movie provides a stark contrast between the educated urban and uneducated rural class, with the ideal amalgamation of comedy and social change. It traces the journey of a couple from different backgrounds who meet at a commonplace.
Slated to release worldwide on June 28, 2019, Mindo Taseeldarni also stars Rajvir Jawanda and Isha Rikhi in pivotal roles.
