While the poster was out in August itself, the stellar team of LAATU has now begun its promotions. Touted to be a period-drama, the film is reportedly aimed at showcasing the life of 1960s in India when electricity was still a luxury for Punjabi villagers and how with having it was considered as a ‘status symbol’ those days.

This movie is a story of a boy who wants to get his home electrified to improve his status symbol and fulfill the pre-requisite of the Matrimonial alliance of those days!

The trailer is reportedly releasing at the end of this week. Till then enjoy the poster here and let us know what you think about it?

LAATU is directed by Manav Shah and written by Dheeraj Rattan. Jagmeet Grewal and Vikas Wadhwa are producing the movie. It is a FARID Entertainment presentation in association with New Era Movies, Raja Dhaba (Khmanon) and Danford College (Australia).
