Released yesterday across the world, Mitran Da Naa Chalda talks about the plight of today’s women, who have to leave the comfort of their homes to earn their livelihood, but instead, they become victims of sexual harassment. The film involves a murder plot and courtroom drama as well, in which Tania shines brilliantly with her very sincere and intense performance.
Having already achieved accolades for her roles in Qismat series, Sufna, Guddiyan Patole, Lekh and more, Tania has become one of the most dependable top actresses of Punjabi cinema within a span of just a few years.
Along with her acting prowess, Tania is also known for giving strong opinions on social subjects. During the trailer launch of the Mitran Da naa Chalda in Chandigarh, Tania spoke her mind on ‘no means no’.
She said this whole concept of ‘no means no’ is not new. She also added that today due to the internet and the accessibility of knowledge, women are aware of their rights. They know what right they have over their mind and body.
Talking about the film Mitran Da Naa Chalda, Tania is paired opposite Gippy Grewal and the film is directed by Pankaj Batra, written by Rakesh Dhawan and produced by Zee Studios. The film has already received rave reviews across social media.
