Chal Mera Putt 3 has already broken the records in Punjabi cinema for being the only Punjabi film to have its ‘triquel’ hit the cinemas within just a month of the release of its magnanimously successful ‘sequel’.

Starring Amrinder Gill and Simi Chahal in the lead along with a bunch of hugely talented actors from both sides of the border, the movie is all set to break another record for being one of the only film franchises in the history of Punjabi cinema, with the smashing box office figures of all its parts.

In fact, if the early box-office speculations are to be believed, Chal Mera Putt 3 is all set to become the biggest Punjabi opener ever.

Yes, Chal Mera Putt 3 has all the elements. – be it its incredibly well-written script, class-apart performances, brilliant direction, and splendid cinematography – that can make it a huge box-office hit, without a doubt.

Continuing with the theme of its previous parts – of showcasing the struggles and challenges that Indian and Pakistani immigrants face abroad in their everyday lives, Janjot Singh’s Chal Mera Putt 3 weaves a beautiful story around so many interesting characters, who all have their own significance in the movie.

None of the dialogues or the character seems forced, or added in the screenplay just to serve as a filler. In fact, the beauty of the film lies in its characters, each one carved for a special purpose – making Chal Mera Putt 3 as one of those rare movies in Punjabi cinema, which are high in quality and star value both.

Directed By Janjot Singh and penned by Rakesh Dhawan, Chal Mera Putt 3 is produced by Karaj Gill and Ashu Munish Sahni, and co-produced by Prabhdeep Singh under the banner of Rhythm Boyz Entertainment, Gillz Network, Omjee Star Studios and Canvas Creations Ltd.

While of course, everyone’s favourite – the swashbuckling hero Amrinder Gill – who plays Jinder in the movie – steals the limelight with his innocuous expressions and witty dialogues – the best part of the movie is that it gives equal weightage to all its other characters.

The film is superbly well-edited and the songs are placed at just the right intervals.  Simi Chahal, who plays the character of Savy looks absolutely gorgeous in the chestnut-dyed hair, and has a very interesting role to play.  Her ‘bubbly’-ness and ‘chutzpah’ shall surely make the audience love her like never before.

Chal Mera Putt 3’s story is though, a fun joyride all the way yet the movie subtly carries within it some poignant moments that touch your heart and root for all the characters.

Since the movie revolves around the hardship of illegal immigrants from South-East Asia, (treated in a funny yet realistic way), and how they look for odd jobs to make money and ensure their survival, one is sure to feel for them.

Also runs in parallel is the cute love story of Jinder and Savy – their effortless chemistry, practical nature of the romance, make the duo very believable which helps the audience connect with them very strongly.

Chal Mera Putt 3 has a heart-touching climax too, wherein Jinder and Savy’s love story takes a very emotional turn!

Overall, Chal Mera Putt 3 is an out-and-out family comedy that is certainly NOT mindless, has a soul and a beautiful message of love written all over it. The movie’s interesting twists and turns, awesome performances, and hilarious one-liners will surely make your weekend special if you watch it with your entire family! Be ready to get surprised in the end!
