Chal Mera Putt 2, which releases on 13th March, brings together Indian Punjabi actors with not just three but five talented Pakistani Punjabi actors – all of them being big names across the border!
After the spurring success of comedy drama movie, Chal Mera Putt (2019), the makers of the movie are all set to win hearts with the movie’s sequel Chal Mera Putt 2, a well-knit comedy drama movie produced by Karaj Gill and Ashu Munish Sahni and co-produced by Prabhdeep Singh under the banner of Rhythm Boyz Entertainment, Gillz Network, Omjee Star Studios and Phantasy Films Ltd Productions.
With singer – turned – actor Amrinder Gill as Jaswinder Singh ‘Jinder’ and Simi Chahal as Swaran Kaur ‘Savy’ in the lead roles, this time, Chal Mera Putt 2 is going to star five Pakistani artists in the movie, signifying a leap of cross border unity in the Punjabi film industry.
In the movie, we will see Iftikhar Thakur as Chaudhary Shamsher, Nasir Chinyoti as Tavrej, Agha Majid as Tavrej’s father, Akram Udas as Boota, Hardeep Gill as Bikkar Chacha, Gurshabad as Balwinder Singh ‘Billa’, Zafri Khan as Advocate ‘Bilal’, and Rubi Anam as Saira.
Not only this, Chal Mera Putt 2 also stars one of the most loved singers of the Punjabi film industry, Garry Sandhu and veteran actress, Nirmal Rishi in pivotal roles.
Chal Mera Putt 2 has been directed by Janjot Singh and the storyline and dialogue has been written by Rakesh Dhawan.
