The movie stars Amrinder Gill and a renowned TV actress Sanjeeda Ali Shaikh in the lead roles. Directed by Amberdeep Singh, ASHKE comes under the banner of Rhythm Boyz Entertainment and Hayre Omjee Studios. Rhythm Boyz Entertainment has carved a niche in Ballewood for rolling out family entertainers with a uniquely weaved story everytime. Be it Bambukat, Lahoriye, Angrej, Love Punjab, Vekh Baraatan Challiyan or Golak Bugni Bank Te Batua, these movies are forever etched in the hearts of any ardent Punjabi cinema fan.
A few days ago, the ASHKE team released its first poster showcasing a team of formally dressed men with the ‘Jaswinder Bhalla’ holding a trophy in his hands. Right after that the excitement and curiosity level among the fans for this film has increased manifold. All want to know the concept of the movie desperately and are making their own guesses. The trophy in the hands Jaswinder Bhalla suggests a team-based victory, but victory of what? A sports or a Bhangra competition? Sure, the makers have left a lot for the imagination of the audience.
