Written by Jass Grewal, directed by Gulshan Singh and produced by Nadar and Vehli Janta Films, ‘Afsar’ is one of the most awaited films of 2018. After amusing the audience with the amazing trailer, the makers released two songs from the film last week – ‘Sun Sohniye’ and the title song Kanugo – both of them becoming a huge rage among the Punjabi cinema lovers.

Right from the unique ‘patwari vs kanugo’ concept to the good looking lead pair of Nimrat Khaira and Tarsem jassar, Punjabi movie AFSAR has got an edge that’s keeping the audience really excited for the movie. On top of it, the adorable pictures shared by the lead cast are increasing our excitement level. Helmed by Gulshan Singh, the movie has been produced by Amiek Virk and Manpreet Johal. With ‘Afsar’ first time the otherwise intense actor Tarsem Jassar will be seen in a humorous avatar. Also, this is the debut movie of singer turned actor Nimrat Khaira as the lead artist. She was earlier seen essaying a short yet important character in the movie ‘Lahoriye’ last year.
