After Ammy Virk, Punjabi singer/actor Ranjit Bawa has shown the spirit of true patriotism and large-heartedness by extending financial help to the families of martyrs from Punjab who sacrificed their lives for the protection of their nation in the dastardly Pulwama terrorist attack.
Ranjit Bawa declared on Facebook today that though whatever amounts he donates it can never make up for the loss that the families have suffered, yet he would like to offer Rs 2.5 lakh each to the martyred soldiers’ families. Ranjit Bawa, who’ll soon be seen in Pankaj Batra’s High End Yaariyaan (releasing on 22nd February) made this announcement on his Facebook page today.
We salute Ranjit Bawa for actually coming forward and offering help, not only in the form of prayers but also, financially!
Pulwama terrorist attack
On 14th February, A terrorist drove up a car carrying 60 kg of RDX explosives next to a security convoy on the Jammu-Srinagar highway and triggered the explosives in what is the worst terror attack to take place in Kashmir since the start of the century. More than 40 Indian Jawans have been reported to have lost their lives.
