Last seen in Baaz (2014) as a police inspector, Babbu Mann is making a comeback as an actor in Punjabi cinema with a film titled – Banjara – The Truck Driver’. In this film, the singer-actor, not just single or double but in a triple role.
From the trailer it’s clear that the film is a romantic drama with its story traveling through different eras – 1947, 1984 and 2018. What’s shown is that romance changes with time, even the clothes, manners, looks and etiquettes of actors but what remains the same is Babbu Mann – The Truck driver.
Directed by Mushtaq Pasha, the movie will be hitting the theatres on 7th December.

As far as Babbu Mann’s role is concerned, he will be playing the son, the grandson and the grandfather in his triple role! However, the film will not see Babbu ageing, as he will play the pota, beta and dada’s roles in the young avatar of their respective times. The film will highlight eras of 1947, 1984 and 2018 showing love interests of three generations in their younger days.
